RecommendedThe St. Charles, MO location opened as a franchise in November 2018. We ate there as soon as it opened and we were not impressed by the wait time and service. Food quality was great, though. We went back several times over the next few months, and again the service and wait time was unacceptable. Obviously, Corporate listened to their customers and bought back the franchise! I had the Cheeseburger basket. The burger was just so.so, the fries were good, enjoyed the music. The wait staff was pretty hohum and service was slow but the lady who checked us out was very friendly. We ordered pie to go but have not tried it yet.
3rd time to eat here. Crowded. Food took 30 Minutes and then my onion rings were cold not even warm. EVERY table around us had something wrong with food. Service was ok but he could only do so much. Will NOT go back. Very obvious this location has issues
I will not eat there every again the dishwasher, sales drugs and he has a std, his name Michael curry , so u guys becarefuleating there and he beat on kids ,

My boyfriend and I wanted to try someplace new for breakfast, so we thought the Black Bear Diner would be a good spot. It was not!!!! From the moment we walked in we had issues. First, the hostess didn't ask us if we wanted a booth or a table, but proceeded to take us a to a tiny table in the corner of the restaurant, right next to the kitchen where we could hear everyone's conversations. Worst service. Mother’s Day lunch was ruined by cold food. Granddaughters grilled cheese wasn’t even cooked.
Crappy food that was cold by time it got to us. My daughters food was not cooked all the way. The changing table was so dirty I couldn’t change my other daughter. The manger was rude and the server was rude. I will NEVER go there again.
