We had high hopes for our first time there. Love the ambiance and staff was decent. The food on the other hand had issues. The pancakes were a tad rubbery and served with a small pat of hard cold butter and a less than an ounce of syrup that left them dry and hard to swallow. Bacon good eggs cooked to my liking 👍. Coffee was ok not great. The other dish was biscuits and gravy. There was just enough to cover the top of both biscuits and once that was gone you were left with a dry biscuit that needed a water chaser.
We decided to come here after referral. we could've gone 20 different places but chose them. we asked to seat 15, nope they had 11, we had to wait longer over 45min. half hour after sitting us they took our order. 30 mins later some plates came out, some were wrong and had to wait even longer. meatlovers omelet barely had meat. the potatoes were not cooked thru, the gravy was country fried steak gravy not breakfast gray. asked for brown gravy it was runny like soup. and to top it off food was cold. very unpleasant experience... read more
Went to have breakfast this morning and my bill was $50, and I gave an $8 tip. Looked at my bank transactions and was charged $70.43! Will definitely NOT be going back!!
Friendly service..💜great food
Server Nicole was great and we loved the food. Took my fiancé here for her birthday dinner with my mother and we all loved the food.
Best Fried Chicken I've ever had and sides were great too.
We went in tonight for our first time. We were told the wait would be 15 minutes and we waited 27 minutes total. We finally got seated and as we were getting walked back to our table we noticed over a dozen open tables so we started questioning why they made us wait so long. After being at our table for over 7 minutes we walked out. Not once did a waitress stop at our table to ask for a drink order. We are beyond disappointed with the service. Not only did we wait longer than we were quoted, only to realize that there ... read more
place was in shambles, no one knew where to seat customers and many tables were available. Transits using the phone, floor very dirty. won't be going again.
Do NOT EVER go to Black Bear Diner in Tucson!!! I have never been in such a racist environment in my life!!!! The customer service and food was great! However, literally EVERY customer there were all white elderly, my date and I were the only colored people in the restaurant. They were so rude and snobby, from the moment I walked in everyone was starring at me and my date Graceon Deaton with the most hateful expressions. They stared at us the whole time we were eating. Every time someone passed our booth they broke their nec... read more
