I do like the food but the wait staff does seem to be uninterrested in their jobs. The only other negative comment is that the floors are always very dirty. This could be a great place if management had more input with the staff. I have been here 5 times now, but it hasn't changed.

Everything was good until we were ready to pay our bill and the POS system was for credit card processing was down and we were told to pay cash which we did not have on us we only had our credit card or they would write down our complete credit card information which all credit card processors do not allow anyone to write down such information opens a huge liability for the Black bear Diner and us as consumers with someone having our information. Went in there last night, Ordered a Bacon pancakes and a Double bacon blast to go Only to get home to find out the bacon was not cooked all the way�one side was cooked and one side was raw,It was very disappointing
