My family and I (party of 5) decided to go to black bear around 5 and we waited about 10 to be seated no a single "welcome in " or anything. 10mins past by and the cashier told us to grab the first table we see clean and she would bring us menu ( took another 10 mins to receive menus ) once she brought us our menus it took another 15/20 mins to order . 1 star because you can't give 0 starts. How long should you wait until you inquire about the status of your order? 30 mins? I should have inquired earlier. The young lady at the table next to us was seated after we had ordered our meal. While we waited, she ordered, received and finished her meal. When she was paying her check, she had the courtesy to tell her server we had been waiting. At the 30 min mark, the server told us the order had been submitted 6 mins ago. We went for dinner after a 10 hour drive from Oregon. Had to wait 39 minutes to be seated. Ordered the avocado toast and bacon cheeseburger. Cheeseburger seat under the light for 20 minutes before they brought it out. Burger was burnt bacon was overdone and raw how do you manage that. My toast was burnt and my over easy eggs was a fried hard. Worse food ever for black bear

Ok my husband and I have eaten at many of Black Bear restaurants and loved them but this was the worst one we have ever eaten at. On 7/6/2021 9:35 am no one was at the front counter to greet us. Once they finally got a table for us there was no waiter to take our order! Then we finally got our food the bacon wasn't cooked and the hash browns OMG! Looked like a flat mush pancake mess! Will not Ever go there again!

Ok my husband and I have eaten at many of Black Bear restaurants and loved them but this was the worst one we have ever eaten at. On 7/6/2021 9:35 am no one was at the front counter to greet us. Once they finally got a table for us there was no waiter to take our order! Then we finally got our food the bacon wasn't cooked and the hash browns OMG! Looked like a flat mush pancake mess! Will not Ever go there again!

If I could give a lower rating I would. The service was rediculiciosly slow, the food was not great, but most of all the rating I'm giving is based on their dishonest approach to getting 5 star ratings. Taped onto the register was a sign that read "ask me how to save $2 on your order..." When asked I learned that, in exchange for a 5 star review you'll save $2. That's right, the service/food is so bad that they are buying ratings. My advice is to skip this Black Bear Diner.
