My wife and I frequent this establishment weekly. Sometimes we share a meal because the servings are so big. The menu is extensive and offers something for every palate. And the desserts? Incredible! We always experience great service, but we want to give a shout out to Cindy... she is always very friendly and attentive. We just love her (and the Black Bear Diner)!
The food quantity was great!! Their shakes were good! Too less vegetarian option! Great service
Been here many times, with never a bad experience! Food is typical Black Bear: tasty, good size portions at a reasonable price. Service has always been friendly and helpful. Definitely has the feel of a Black Bear, with log-cabin look, and lots of mountain decor. Staff is accommodating, as well. Access for disabled folks is easy, both in the well lit parking lot, and inside the restaurant. Quite possibly our favorite BB location!
Good food and service. Huge menu. Got diarrhea after, but that's probably my own fault.
The food was very good, as usual. I really like their sausage - the regular that comes with breakfast. Service was decent, maybe a slow, and our server didn't smile or talk much. The experience was average but the prices were great.
I came here twice for breakfast/brunch. Some of the pluses: 1) It has a very cute atmosphere - great for kids, or anyone wanting a lighthearted ambience. There are carved bears in posts, stuffed bears hung around the restaurant doing various things,... It has a happy atmosphere. 2) They serve homestyle cooked meals, with huge portions. Some of the minuses: 1) The dinner menu is mainly meat; if you are vegetarian, there are some breakfast options that can work for you, or some seafood options if you eat seafood, o... read more
We had an outstanding service by Mary in the dining room. She was very helpful and professional. Charming and speaking excellent Spanish. Mary is definitely an asset to any business. The food was also great we had the vegetarian omelette and the ham and cheese omelette with a side order of crispy bacon. Keep up the great work.
First time customers. Had breakfast, chicken fried steak, eggs, country potatoes and HUGGGGEEEEE biscuit. We weren't able to finish it so it made for another breakfast the next day. Our biggest complaint is $4.00 for a cup of coffee...WOW!!! We will definitely go back to try lunch soon and leave another review... (and notttttt have coffee)...
I have received excellent customer service and great food. I come at least two to three times a week.
