First time at a Black Bear Diner. Went on a company provided breakfast, and though the staff was stretched thin, our server rocked it! She was on top of the coffee & beverage refills for our table of 12, as well as seating new guests, and checking people out. I was very impressed with the service! Food was good! I wasn't super hungry at the time, but when I did dig into my leftovers, the chorizo burrito was excellent. The serving sizes are huge here! Even if I had eaten more than I did, I still would have had leftover... read more

Having been introduced to this fine restaurant at a family birthday party 2 weeks ago, my wife and I came back for dinner tonight. We joined the black bear diner club following our 1st visit and we were treated tonight to an excellent evening breakfast - compliments of the club! My waffle was fabulous and my wife enjoyed biscuits and gravy . The best part was the service we received from the young man at the front, and from our waitress who's name, unfortunately, I don't recall, but whom we will not forget. We will be back!

Me and my girlfriend decided to walk into this diner for breakfast one morning. There was little to no wait time and the service to sit us down was good. We both ordered the same thing but I got a fruit bowl, when we got the fruit bowl it did not come with strawberries or grapes like said on the menu. We also ordered the hash browns and they were undercooked and slimy. Also when we got the sausage it was a bit cold. Other then that the French toast and eggs were fantastic. I recommend getting the French toast.

A hidden unexpected gem when eating at a black bear diner is there own line of hot sauce... and since I am a self proclaimed hot sauce guru, i cant pass up the opportunity to highlight what might be the best tasting mild sauce ever made. Yes, you heard that right. A diner with their own hot sauce line. They make three but the pinnacle is actually their mild baby bear sauce. Put it on everything! Including ice cream its that good.

Stopped in here after being picked up at the airport. Didn't expect the portions to be so much, but hey I'm not one to complain (yes I ate it all). I had the fish n sticks yummy, my lady had the chicken taco salad which was huge as heck. We all had hot chocolate and was told they give free refills (who doesn't like that). Food awesome, service awesome, yummy yummy go check it out if your around or in town. Don't remember the servers name but she was real nice leave her a tip.

Hmm, the latest comment I could see in Yelp says they are closed due to COVID. It is 9/18/21 and they are very open. Not from 6AM to 10PM which I think the website says (more like 7AM to 8PM). Right next door to motel I stay at (SnoozInn) which made it convenient for me to have lunch & dinner during my four day stay while attending a class at nearby airport. My only comment: Check Wi-Fi coverage where they are seating you if you plan on working during your meal. I was way in the back last night and couldn't connect to the Wi... read more
