I've been here a few times for their breakfast. Great breakfast options and delicious pancakes! The service has always been top notch. Clean and friendly staff.

Black Bear Dinners are always a great place to eat. The portions are large the food is presented well on the plate. The staff is helpful and the service is excellent. They have a wide range of food selections The only negative thing I have noticed at several of their restaurants is the bathrooms are usually not very clean.

Fun place for breakfast with my family especially during a road trip! Food is freshly made, good sized portions so make sure you're hungry! Friendly service.

We came in around 9:30ish in the morning, other customers (and ourselves included) we're having trouble being seated in a timely manner as it seemed the front counter was understaffed (maybe?) with both seating and ringing up the customer's bills. I'm patient person so this didn't bother me, but this is for those who are less patient. That's the disclaimer. I'm willing to chalk it up that the establishment was busy, because whatever little gripes I've just stated was completely overlooked as my Chicken fried steak and my gir... read more

We were visiting family pre-Thanksgiving so we stopped in for breakfast and lunch. Both experiences were great. The food was hot and amazing (BLT for lunch and eggs/biscuits for breakfast). We were sat quickly and the wait staff was friendly and quick. There was a small issue with our lunch and was quickly corrected. The parking was a bit backward. Parked in rear in angle parking but when pulling out, there was no exit. Hard to do a 5 point turn to get out going against the natural traffic flow

We went here on Thanksgiving. The service was friendly and efficient. For the holiday meal there was a choice of turkey, ham or prime rib with traditional Thanksgiving sides, including a choice of soup or salad. The salad was fresh and tasty, as were the red mashed potatoes. The turkey, however, was pressed and the stuffing over-salted. The pumpkin pie was delicious.

We got here within an hour of closing time. You never know what mood servers will be in by the end of the day, but everyone was still super nice and attentive. The food was very tasty and plentiful. I always love the decor both in and around black bear diners.

Food was really good, just like other businesses in this new era of not enough people to work getting beer took a long time, food came out quicker. One person asked if we needed anything, we said yes another beer but that request was not given to the waitress. Just a new time we have to get used to
