This restaurant is a must try! Food is great and the portions are enormous!! I would hands down recommend the cinnamon French toast, and the avocado chicken club. The best part of the experience was the amazing service, Amanda our server was incredible and is the reason I'm willing to make the 30 minute drive back every time. Our Rotary Club meets here every Thursday evening. Tonight Amanda was our only server for 20+ people. She did an AMAZING JOB , juggling special orders, requests, etc. she did it all with a smile on her face, great attitude, prompt service and attention to detail. She made calm out of chaos, and for that our group is very thankful. Amanda represents this new business in town very well. Thank you!

We went to the Black Bear Diner for dinner on a slow Saturday night. We waited too long to be seated for a place that was almost empty. After 3 people told us that somebody would be "right with us" somebody finally sat us. The waitress took our order and forgot a drink we ordered. The food came soon and it was good. The waitress never came back to our table for refills until I called her over. For the amount of money we paid, the service could be a lot better. We will probably try again to see if we get better service next ... read more

I dropped in for breakfast while out doing some shopping. had the super hearty biscuits and gravy. our Server Sherri is wonderful. A gentleman named Frank even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. this is such a cute gem.
Amazing & caring service! Food quality is delicious, their fit section menu much appreciated . Waiters checked in often ensuring we were well taken care of. Had BF & loved their freshly squeezed orange juice!!

Chicken Fried Steak is the best! Daughter loved the chicken Alfredo as well. Cute atmosphere and family friendly. Service is always good.
