I found a deal on angies list to have a furnace check/inspection for $79.00. I contacted them and they scheduled me about 1 week and a half out. They came on time, were professional, thorough, and did an overall great job. Our furnace is only 2 years old so there were no issues.
It went pretty well. I had also purchased a big deal for them for $69 for furnace or air conditioning tune-up. After I used the big deal for the tune-up, I used them to install the new furnace. They did pretty well. They were very responsive to giving the quote. They arrived on time and provided good service. I am pretty happy about it. With regard to price, they were pretty competitive. Maybe it could have better. The quality has been good so far.

excellent service and questions answered by the technician very slight delay in scheduling but I'm sure it was due to a good value for the service
We needed to replace our gas furnace and decided to have an air conditioner installed too so I looked in Angie's List booklet and called two places for estimates. Black Lion had the better price and was willing to go the extra mile for us, like installing a new vent in the kitchen and replacing some leaky ducting at no extra charge. They came out to find out why we had no heat diagnosed the issue and returned with a replacement part, but when they found out that a wire had come detached which caused the furnace to shut off. They didn't need to install a new part and I just paid for the service call.
