Outstanding service provider! My H2O heater broke so I went in search on Angie's List and companies that have worked on my furnace and air conditioning in the past. I ended up getting about 11 bids for the project because the initial few bids all proposed very different approaches to what should be done (much less products). Black Lion had one of the lowest bids and was one of the few that ended up what I thought was a reasonable solution. Initially, I was getting only quotes for a new A/C unit or a Heat pump but after getting the report from the technician (different company) doing an annual inspection of our furnace, decided to replace it at the same time. I needed a new furnace before the winter. A "big Deal" ad on Angie's list prompted me to call for an estimate. The salesperson for Black Lion, Brian McCulloch, had done his homework. He knew when the house was built and the size of the house. He toured the house and recommended an 80% efficient furnace and my best option. Everything was fine with it. They were good, they were fine.
We purchased the deal of "$59 for A/C Tune-Up or Furnace Clean and Check" with Black Lion. They called and scheduled a visit within a couple of days. The technician showed up on time, checked our A/C unit and cleaned it. He also gave us some tips on maintaining and repairing the A/C unit for future reference. Overall, happy with the visit.
It went great. The service professional arrived a little early and was a wonderful technician. He serviced the unit on the main house and our mother in law cottage. I will definitely call them for service on the furnace this fall.
