This Monday, Dave Lehman joined BirdEye as President and Chief Operating Officer of BirdEye. It’s an exciting time to join the company. Right now, BirdEye is poised to dominate the customer experience space for local businesses.
Dave has more than 20 years of experience scaling up go-to-market operations at companies like Yext and Salesforce. While he was the Vice President of Commercial Sales at Salesforce, Dave opened up the Chicago office and grew the team to 400 people in just 2 years. Here at BirdEye, he’ll be leading our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to make customers happier than ever.
So what brought Dave Lehman to BirdEye? Dave identified a few key factors. First and foremost: BirdEye’s values. He loved BirdEye’s obsessive focus on customer happiness. There’s a reason why more than 50,000 businesses already trust BirdEye to help improve business operations. It’s because BirdEye has built a product that solves problems that businesses all over the world are facing.
Next, the opportunity. Dave saw that the addressable market for BirdEye was huge. Businesses of all sizes are looking for intuitive customer experience software and BirdEye is the product to fill that gap.
And last but not least, the people. BirdEye is not only a high-functioning team but also a tight-knit family. Dave’s already had a great time meeting some of the team members in Palo Alto and is excited to meet the Dallas team soon.
Already, Dave is leading some exciting initiatives. While BirdEye still has some important positions to fill, the team is currently setting the stage for hyper-growth in the next calendar year.
BirdEye’s already seen a fantastic 2019- winning multiple awards from organizations like G2 and the American Business Awards, growing its customer base, and continuing to innovate on what’s already a fantastic product. So here’s to a great 2020.
