I am rating this as 1 star because it is impossible to rate it as 0. I went to this BMW dealer on Saturday, October 22 to buy a used car. After not reaching an agreement on the price, I left the store when it was closing. On my way, back to Charlottesville, I received a call and an e-mail from Josh offering a new proposal much closer to my offer. When buying my car they make all these promises about how they will take care of car when we need maintenance service and other things. Once the car is sold they are done. Very bad customer service.called few times reg my new car having issues and even wrote email.but no one responded back.i took my car for maintanance,they didn't even wash my car and there was oil and grease on the car which I noticed when I got home. Didnt keep agreement after given a copy of sale to go to credit union to pick check, the next day i was called by Daniel and said the car was sold. They didnt do good business or goodwill for the customer. When i went to the credit union i was inform that they had taken the loan which i asked not to run a credit report, so i had to go back to the dealership get on a conference call with the credit union. The dealership sales team have no current knowledge of what they are selling! After waiting for a week or my order, it turned out that they ordered the wrong vehicle. Not only they weren't unapologetic about it to correct the wrong, but instead tried to complain how many hours they spent locating the (wrong) vehicle so I have to buy it? My experience was very eventful. You'll have a great initial experience here, but don't expect to be treated with the utmost respect when you express your concerns about anything after the initial sales transaction. The general manager will attempt to resolve the issues, but not because they actually care about the bad experience you had at the dealership. I purchased a used 2007 530i BMW from this location on July 4, 2014. Dmitriy was the sales manager, Josh was the salesman that sold me the car. Well, when I first got the car, about a month later, the xenon headlight went out ($300 repair bill), a few months later when it got cold, I noticed steam coming from the hood on wet, rainy days. There are few things in life more stressful than purchasing a car. It is akin to going to war. If you don't spend countless hours researching and preparing before hand, there is a good chance you will be in over your head and lose. All of the employees at Richmond BMW were friendly, enthusiastic, and always presented a smile. The price of the car was extremely fair compared to other similar vehicles I researched. My only complaint, and not much of one really, was that the interior was not cleaned up quite as much as I had hoped. Just a few spots with chipped paint, that is to be expected on an 8 year old car, so I am in no way disappointed.

The rep in their Service Department, Joshua, can show you a great example of horrible Customer Service. Due to his arrogant and apathetic attitude, not only has BMW lost me as a service customer, but I'll never be back to any property owned by your company.
