What I am looking for when trying to buy a car is a sales guy who is responsive, easy to get along with, has a good knowledge of the product, good communicator - explains his answers and makes sure that I understand, cares about my comfort and basically leaves no stone unturned. I encountered with Mr. Crawford was via a phone call. He spoke to me as a human being not as a car guy (technical stuff). I was having problem with my ’91 735i. I installed a battery and was having problems with my alarm. He was very patient in listen to my concerns and truly felt empathy for my situation. He presented me with several options and/or tricks to try to solve my situation. My experience with Tischer BMW was pleasant from the start to finish. Jacob was very professional and friendly, he made sure every answers I had got answered. He even made sure I get the insurance done before I leave so that I wouldn't have to drive home nervous that I would wreck my new purchase. :) Even when the deal was done, he spent time outside with me to explain to me all the functions of the car I purchased and made sure I had my navigation set home correctly so that I could drive home safe. I had a very irritating issue with my Bluetooth. I have visited other BMW dealers (just moved to the DC area)and they never seem to take the time to help answer questions or set up all the goodies in my car. I stopped by Tischer unannounced at lunch time with somewhat of a chip on my shoulder. I truley expected to be pushed aside. It was a pleasure to have visited the dealership as my decision to purchase the vehicle came upon short notice and availability. I was even picked up at the Metro station by Mr. Joshi and this made my trip from Springfield to Silver Spring much easier especially during the rush hour last night! The warm and cordial reception extended to me by both Mr. Joshi and Ms. McCarthy made my buying experience with Tischer BMW worth my time. I would certainly do business with this place again!
Andy was very friendly and very knowledgeable about my new vehicle lease. I was looking at Audi and BMW and even left and returned to see him because this was the better deal. I felt very comfortable with him and I left feeling like I got a very good deal. I would recommend this dealer and Andy to anyone.
Overall, I would give Tischer BMW a rating of 5. I had been looking for a pre-own certified 5 series BMW. I stopped by and looked at the inventory and walk inside to get some details. I met Brian Cunningham, now even though he is a die hard Cowboys fan, I did not hold that against him. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when both test driving and purchasing the car. This was my first time buying a car at a dealership and it was far more positive than most people lead you to believe. I would gladly purchase another BMW from him and would refer others as well.
