Came here for Father's day, but was quite disappointed. The food was mediocre at best and it took about an hour for the food to come out. There weren't that many people at the time, but it was just slow. Service wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. In my opinion, not worth the money. Not coming back ever
The waiter serving table next to ours bumped into my daughter (seated) and spilled an entire 20oz beer on her hair and back. It was an accident and I understand that and the waiter felt bad however, our waiter or manager never even offered to discount or even offer meal at no charge. He did bring a glass of champagne though... I guess he thought that would smooth things over. The dress is ruined but we tried to make most of rest of evening. Not sure I'd return...
would NOT recommend this restaurant, especially with all of the excellent other restaurants in National Harbor that are far superior. We ordered wine off the wine list because it was a 30th anniversary blend, so there was an upcharge on it and when it came, it was not the same year or blend we ordered, we told them, they sent the Manager over, even she was even the manager and she could care less. Overall the food was very good and the wait staff was very good. However the service itself was extremely slow and considering that it was not that busy on a Sunday afternoon seemed a bit odd. My biggest concern was the hostess as my reservation requested seating away from the kitchen as a general rule and she placed us as close as possible on a Sundeck alcove off the kitchen with a full view of the kitchen and all the noise and bang pots and pans to go with it. I was put through hoops to make a reservation for more than 9 people. When we arrived the hostess let me know that they wouldn't be able seat us together and that they could not seat a second table for less than 5 people. She was quite rude about it. We ended up only needing the 1 table. Our waiter was rude from the start, huffing and puffing as he waited on us. He had no personality and did not make us feel welcome. I read the reviews and figured let's try this place. my boyfriend ordered a lasagna. Had to return back because the taste was not authentic. I had crab ravioli it was ok nothing special. for the prices I expected better food quality. The staff was very nice and setting as well. Unfortunately the food for me wasn't.
My son and I ate dinner here on Mother's Day. We both had the filet and it was excellent; however I can not say the same for the service and/or treatment we received from our waiter. With the exception of our waiter, the rest of the staff was wonderful.
The food was good but the service was chaotic and slow. We sat outside and it was nice but we felt forgotten. It took a while for our entrees to be served and I think the food was overpriced. We will not be returning to Bond 45.
Had several fine dining choices for my wife's BDay dinner and chose Bond 45 as we have never been. Made reservations a half day in advance and was seated in a dark corner table in the bar area by the door to the outside seating. This door opened and closed 50+ times blowing wind in on my wife and I. Service was good, not great as was the food.
