This was my second time visiting Bond. The first time April 14, 2018 the food was delicious. I told my family about it and encouraged them to try Bond. It was truly a different experience. I had the same exact dish! Salmon with potatoes. My salmon was over cooked and my potatoes were hard as a brick. They tasted like they were reheated. No one enjoyed their meal. After spending nearly $200. We left and went to McDonald’s. Never again.
The waiter may have been new but I asked for a taste of their stout beer on tap and received what appeared to be a lager. I questioned it and he blamed the bartender then brought a whole glass of stout not just a taste. I ordered a ribeye which was very expensive and not worth the price. The service was horrible, food average and not worth the cost. We were very disappointed. I have been to the Bond 45 in New York City several times and was expecting much more form this restaurant. The waiters were unorganized and unresponsive. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Don't waste your time. The food was just ok.. we were a party of four - we ordered the fried calamari/fried shrimp family style appetizer. It was a huge portion, and good! As main meals, we had ribeye, filet mignon, salmon, and a pasta/shrimp dish. The steaks were overcooked and just meh, the salmon dish was bland, and the pasta was nothing you couldn't make at home. We made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary. We were excited to try the Prix Fixe lunch menu we had seen online. When we arrived the restaurant was empty. We were seated and handed the lunch menu with the prix fixe options. When we were ready to order the waiter said the prix fixe was not offered on the weekend. There was nothing on the menu that stated the prix fixe would not be offered on the weekend. When we told him we were disappointed he just said we could order off the dinner menu. Lasagna was like mush and Cesar salad was wilted and slimy
While the food was decent, the service was an embarrassment. There was no detail too small for the team to overlook - from spilling water on the table (and never even offering to clean it up), forgotten bread service, or the offer of a burnt cookie still in a sheet pan with wax paper. The worst part was that no one seemed to even care. Bottom line: too many other restaurants with good food in the area that have better service.
Service was slow at best. Bread served before meal was cold, butter was cold as well. You would think dining at an Italian Restaurant you would be served fresh hot bread with olive oil or soft butter for the best enjoyment. The crab cake was exceptional, however the crab stuffed pasta dish my wife ordered was not so good. The pasta was stuffed with cheese rather then crab meant.
