Caesar salad was good. Chicken Parm was terrible. Rigatoni with sausage nothing special. Service was great.
My family and I used to enjoy Bond 45 when it first opened up. We had a horrible waitress last year. She just came off like she bought her personal business to work. She was the worst. I decided to never returned. Well until we decide to go to Fiola Mare Italian/ steakhouse in Georgetown or Bond 45 since our son and friend was with us. While the food was pretty good, it took multiple times to get the dishes correct. I never thought someone could mess up a salad but they did. Then dinner came out with two orders of the "daily special" completely overcooked. Other meals were served. 30 minutes later the still overcooked dishes came out. My wife and went to Bond 45 on a Friday night. The ambiance was great. We were excited because everything on the menu looked good. The staff was nice. We ordered a bottle of wine. Soon after the wine came I looked up and saw a fireman with a firehose walking through the restaurant. Then we saw another. We kind of laughed it off because I thought he was coming from a costume party or something (silly me) But unfortunately the restaurant was on fire. There was a kitchen fire while we were there, so they were not able to make our meal for us and we only had an appetizer. The restaurant did not offer any concession for the inconvenience, and so we had to pay full price for the appetizer, and no offer of a coupon or anything for a future meal. We were disappointed with this poor customer service.
Wasn't very pleased. Our waiter, we saw maybe twice throughout our whole dinner. He didn't come back to check on us or refill our drinks the whole time we was there. He was so focused on the table of loud women next to us who were having an inappropriate conversation. He catered to them the entire time like we weren't even there. Location is close to water, but no view for the most part. Very disappointed in food. Average at best and we didn't even have high expectations based on some other reviews. The dessert, chocolate mousse cake, was the only yummy part.
I had the scallops, and a Caesar salad to start. There was an eyelash length hair in my salad, but I said nothing. The scallops came out burnt, but the risotto was cooked PERFECTLY. Because of the scallops we sent it back. The second plate came out with tasteless, overly heated scallops and under-seasoned, undercooked risotto. I only finished it because I was that hungry.
Waitress was all over the place. Brings us bread, have to wait for her to return with butter, wait for water refills, wait to order drink, then she comes back because she forgot the name of the drink (15 mins later ) Food delivered to table, i ordered a steak, had to wait to eat my food because i did not have a steak knife. I had to ask a staff member walking by to please bring me a knife. Alot of traffic and noise behind us, possibly a class reunion or a company social in room behind me. Very distracting .
