We have been to this restaurant several times since it opened, the quality of our experience has gone down each time. They have changed their menu several times, and not sure if there is some food cost issues they are dealing with or what but it is noticeable. Service initially was fantastic but now does not seem much better than average.
My husband and I went there for an early Valentine's Day celebration. The tomato & shrimp bisque was excellent, the popovers were great, but the service on the lobster was inadequate. We ordered a whole lobster to share, it came on one plate, we had to ask for another plate. The drawn butter for the lobster was in 1 bowl, not 2, and barely warm. In that price range you better make sure "the juice is worth the squeeze" in our case it was not.
Very disappointed..out for a romantic evening and seated next to a table of 10 twelve year olds...service was shabby at best...won't be going back.
The Food was not good,I was think this is a FIVE STAR place turn out to be a NO STAR restaurant, we order around 7:20pm did not get our food until 45mins later, over all the BOND 45 is is a NO STAR restaurant.
Very disappointed in the service. I made reservations several days in advance and we were put in a small room with a loud birthday celebration going on. We kept losing our waiter. We placed a drink order and didn't see him for 15 minutes. He didn't know what the soup of the day was on a very cold night. We were never offered the simple things: fresh ground pepper for our salads, olive oil with our bread, coffee ..... We won't be going back.
Waitress was very good -- attentive without being a pain. Steak was tender & had good flavor, potatoes were crisp & tasty; chicken was so-so & asparagus were mushy. Steak, chicken, potatoes, asparagus, water - $102 (not incl tip)!!! Food WAY TOO expensive for what you get, & $3.50 each for room temperature, filtered, tap water was ridiculous even if it was "all you can drink". Very, very expensive.
Beautiful restaurant, food was good, not remarkable but it was much too expensive. They attempted to seat us out on the empty covered porch which should be shut down in the winter. We asked to be re-seated in the main dining room. The waiter was unfamiliar with the ingredients of some of the dishes. he was only interested in selling us "up".
