Apartments are decent but staff are completely incompetent. I moved out and had multiple exchanges regarding getting my deposit back and even had to threaten to file a formal complaint with the Denver housing authority to get them to resolve it. Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. In addition, for my property, their office sets up one of the utilities and likewise has to shut it off upon move-out. I tried to call the utility to do this myself but was told the office had to call the utility themselves. This wasn't done unt... read more

BEWARE: Do not rent from this company! They are the most unethical, unprofessional rental company I have ever rented from. I am breaking my lease and moving because of them and the fact that I no longer feel my belongings are safe on their property. They nickel and dime you for things that were once included in the expensive rent without even notifying you so you incur more charges. If Yelp had a Negative 5-Start rating.... Boutique Apartments would get it. I should have read the reviews prior to setting up appointments from this mess of a company (if you could call it that). Both times Kayla Driscoll canceled due to so lack of available time related to inefficient scheduling and in the case of today, cancelled 5-mins prior to showing due to complete lack of availability. Just turn around now, while you still have your dignity! This has been an unholy hell of biblical lore, like Dante never knew! Seriously they will destroy your sanity and your wallet till you're a shell of a human being. I moved into one of the "income restricted" units a year ago, which meant it was an "affordable" unit at $900 for a studio! I'm pretty much at my rope's end with Boutique Apartments. I can't get them to respond to maintenance requests, emails...nothing. Every single time, I need to follow back up with them just to get a response to anything. I have a maintenance request that is about 2 months old now...no idea if they'll ever get to it. Another maintenance request (a leak) I eventually had to fix myself or my apartment would have been severely damaged. Just stay away. I didn't even lease from them and I'm glad I didn't. They basically stole $200 from me. The apartment I looked at was currently being rented / lived in. They rushed through the walk throughs both times I went to look at the place. I really liked it, but didn't have a roommate committed to the place yet because she hadn't seen it. I applied for the place, I got approved, but had to put down a "hold fee". They tell me this is because "they are losing money by taking the listing off the market". Yes, because ... read more

Very difficult people to deal with. Customer service is non existent with boutique. If you need something, you will have to go to the office. The staff neither responds to emails nor returns calls. Do not expect them to address any issue with the building or otherwise.

We were interested in an apartment at 784 Cherry Street and received a lease. There was an addition to the lease saying that they could call on us to pay property taxes whenever they wanted. Understandably, we had gripes with this and contacted them to change it. This is where we had our biggest problem. After texting, calling, and emailing many times over a week, we still did not receive any communication. Nothing but an awful experience with boutique 1. After one year they wanted to raise my rent (by more than $300/month!!), but said i could move into a different unit in the building with no added fees. SIX MONTHS after switching units I suddenly owed them a new deposit and new application fee, despite written confirmation of the opposite. 2. Nothing in my apartment was ever repaired.
