Preface- my bldg management was excellent prior!- My building was taken over by Boutique apartments 10/28/21. I have had numerous calls and online maintenance requests regarding plumbing issues. Ive had a couple temporary fixes and I've also I've been told twice that "there was nothing we can do, sorry". I've been left with no toilet or any other solutions for MULTIPLE times exceeding 12-24+ hours. I've never heard back from management or a maintenance manager. I can see now why there is so much sh*t all around the building... read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I lived at Tennyson 44 and it was by far the worst apartment and property management I have ever experienced. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and I could write a novel about how terrible this place is but I will quickly summarize. The common areas are filthy, the trash room is disgusting (90% of the time you can't even open the door), the main door is constantly broken, the elevator was broken during our move out weekend (the whole weekend) and there was zero urgency to fix it so we had to move everyt... read more

Our team has all common areas cleaned regularly by our staff and cleaning crew along with deep cleans every couple of months as seen fit. We have been working on getting the trash room issue resolved and were finally able to get our trash vendor to approve of a second dumpster for this property after years of them stating they couldn't make it fit in the trash room. Where do I begin? My entire experience at The Clarkson was a nightmare. If you want to live in a glorified dorm, this is your place. The walls here are insanely thin and noise from my inconsiderate neighbors affected my sleep daily. Maintenance doesn't fix things correctly the first time, so you'll keep putting maintenance requests in until you give up and just live with the problem until you move out. Do not rent from their apartments. Moved to Tennyson 44 from nyc in December 2019. I've rented my adult entire life prior to living there, and this experience has been the worst. First, the property was poorly maintained during Covid. Trash rooms overflowed regularly and the common areas aren't disinfected regularly. Second, our unit had no hot water for 2 weeks. Do not rent from these people. They are literal slumlords who make their money fraudulently by scamming unsuspecting renters. They are rude, and degrading and extremely unprofessional. Anyone who gave them a good rating is lying. They will try to pull "fine print" scams and steal money from you when you want to move out. They will tell you that you need to keep paying them after your lease is over 2 years later and that you are contracted into continuing the lease even when you tell them many times you are moving out and fo... read more

Horrible! I would give negative stars if I could! Run away as fast as you can! Their customer service is AWFUL and they are greedy scammers. They refused to refund my money on a mistake that THEY made, and have been a nightmare to work with. They cost me hundreds, don't even think about leasing with them!

Nate, I am sorry to hear about your experience while the work was be performed. I agree, the electrical upgrade was disruptive and working in occupied apartments is never ideal. Unfortunately, this upgrade was required after the building sold. The lead based paint addendum is required by law for all buildings built before 1978. We have no reason to believe the property contains lead based paint other than it being built over 100 years ago. DO NOT MOVE TO BUERGER BROTHER LOFTS! November 2019: Moved into 3G AC did not work Washer/Dryer did not work Had repair people in house almost every day for the first two weeks.
