This management company gave my old roommate the entire security deposit and then refused to give tell me where they mailed the check so now I'm having to hire private investigator to find the old roommate that ran. Not recommended

Terrible experience renting with them. They said the apartment would be cleaned after they showed it. I moved in and it was even dirtier than when I toured. After I called them, they decided not to send someone to clean it. Don't rent with them.
Honestly I have tried to be nice and kind about every bad situation I've had in this complex but today is definitely the stepping stone for me. I will very much not be renewing my lease with boutique and you shouldn't either. I will literally be getting a hotel room tonight with my girlfriend because there is something wrong with the water heater. Here's the kicker. I've lived in the Rocket Apartments for over a year now and have had multiple negative experiences dealing with the management. It's ill organized and often rude. The building itself has had so many maintenance issues over the time I've lived here its impossible to count. Currently something is wrong with the water heater and its making a noise similar to a kettle boiling and and a gurgling sound. These people have no respect for their tenants anyone who gives a good rating is lying and works for them. They threatened to tow my car even though I am handicapped and ask for a handicap space which by law they're supposed to honor within 30 days if they have parking but instead they have the dump truck out working in the middle of the night where I was parking not taking anyone's parking sending particulates into my apartment. I lived in a rent controlled apartment at Buerger Brothers/Chamber Lofts for five years. When I moved in the managing company, Greystar, was very helpful and the staff was really friendly and helpful with the paperwork process. I was told that If I wanted to move out early that if they were able to find another tenant I would not be responsible for the remainder of the lease. I moved into the Eliot Flats, sight unseen because I was moving from the East Coast over a year ago. I am writing this review sincerely because I wish I had known the below information prior to signing a lease. I have very real safety concerns living in this building. Bikes have been stolen out of the locked, gated area- mine included. This was discovered by another tenant who left a note in May. BEWARE!!! They lie, are unresponsive to flooded and molded conditions, don't return calls for weeks! This is the most unprofessional, inhumane group I've ever worked with and I sold real estate for 20 years. Think twice before you sign.

The response from mike was a standard response. I tried calling him to explain what happened and the was no answer or response to my voicemail. This reaffirms my opinion that Boutique Apartments does the bare minimum to run their complexes.
