We've always liked Brower, and have had them in over the past 20 years to do two replacements of HVAC systems (different homes) and replacement of all duct work in our current home. The service personnel, without exception, are competent and customer-friendly when we have had them in to inspect our system once or twice a year. This week our Furnace and Air Condition tear out and replacement job was completed by Brower Mechanical out of Rocklin, performed by Dominic and Garrett. It was the best job ever, done over 3 days. The work was inspected by a third party service, which resulted in exceeding standards in quality, system performance, time to complete, clean work and our experience of the two techs who performed the job. I'm very impressed with Pete. I couldn't be at the house when he arrived, however my wife was. He was very polite and diagnosed the problem with the AC. Unfortunately he had to go in the attic to make the repair, it had to be 200 degrees in there. He talked with me on the phone to let me know what the issue was. I have already recommended them to a friend. Thank you Pete!

They came out to service our AC, and is much colder now. Note to everyone, always get your AC serviced each year to keep it running smooth. Our tech Alex was very nice, even wore the shoe protectors when coming inside the house. We have used Brower in the past and always receive great service at a good price. I highly recommend them, and will continue to use them in the future.

Our furnace stopped working and we setup an appointment with Brower for a service call. The tech was on time and diagnosed that the problem was a bad igniter. It is a simple plug in type item, available for around $25.00. Their service call was $92.00. Several companies apply the service fee towards repair, but not with Brower. The total FAIR cost including their markup for the parts should be $92.0 plus $25.0 (part and another $25.00 (part markup) equals $142. It was more than double, a total of $299.00. Unbelievable, old fashioned, outstanding information and service. I needed to improve on a relatively newer HVAC heating system and expected the worst...like a new unit. When the guys came out, they found everything to be in excellent condition with the exception of a tune-up, filter and the culprit: The thermostat. After a brief discussion and some follow up on-line homework, they brought an ECHOBEE thermostat and installed it and the house has never been more comfortable. We have a 75-year old house with no insulation in the walls and an attic with shake roof debris and a mix of assorted types of insulation that was not doing a good job with the long and hot summer we had. Brower came in range of the other 2 quotes and we picked them in part because of a good experience working with them before, and because of their flexibility to allow us to work on wiring while the attic was cleared out. We have been doing business for several years with Brower Mechanical. They have always done great work. However, today (Thursday) they went above and beyond. The fan stopped working on our HVAC unit on a house we have scheduled for an open house this Saturday. and the tech didn't think they would be able to get it fixed until next week. My review is strictly being able to come out to my house on a Sunday evening at 10pm to get my ac working again. My wife is 8 months pregnant and a extremely hot house was not a good idea. I have a home warranty but trying to get them out at that time was not going to happened.
