I took my pug to get his teeth cleaned with Dr. Baker and I can not say enough good things about her and her team. I was so scared of him being put under during the procedure but Dr. Baker assured me he would be fine- thankfully, she was right! His teeth look so great and his breath is 100% better! Thank you to Dr. Baker and the team at Brykerwood Veterinary Clinic.

Personally, I've never experienced a problem with Bryerwood..but I have moved since then so I no longer use Bryerwood to care for my pets. All it takes is just one member of the staff to tarnish a business reputation...The owner of this clinic should be made aware of that one person and the nature of the problem.

Being new to Austin and needing a vet for my 2 dogs, I began searching for a nearby vet via great reviews. (One doesn't exist; evidently there are no 5-star or even 4.5-star vet clinics here). I went with Brykerwood because it was so convenient, despite the many disappointing negative reviews. Perhaps because I had low expectations, or perhaps because Austinites may start with higher standards than I did, I was very pleased, if not impressed, with this vet clinic. My cat needed surgery. I found out when I took him to Austin Vet Care, they quoted me at $3700! That wasn't going to be possible. I was so afraid my only option was to put him down... Thanks to Dr. Werner and the wonderful staff at Brykerwoods I was able to get my cat the surgery he needed! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I was updated on my cat's condition daily and given thorough instructions on how to monitor his recovery. Thank you for saving my cat's life!

I've been taking my dog to Brykerwood for the two years since i adopted her, and every time I go, the people there do a terrific job. They are kind to my dog, responsive to my questions, and always professional. The vets pay attention to my concerns and questions, and give me clear instructions; the techs are kind, good humored, and take care of my dog who can sometimes be nervous; and the front office people are friendly, attentive, and efficient. I've been going to Brykerwood for several years now to take care of my Tuxedo cat (about 9 yrs old) and my new Tabby (about 10 months old). I switched to this clinic after bouncing around several places. (Note: NEVER go to South Branch Pet & Bird Clinic. My Tuxedo came back with fleas after her spay surgery!) I recently adopted a kitten through APA, and took her for her first exam here. Scout had ringworm when I got her, and so did I by the first appointment. Dr. Shmalz examined her, and was incredibly helpful in explaining the best way to treat it (Lyme baths vs oral medication.) Everyone was friendly and helpful when I dropped/picked Scout up, and she's made a full recovery. I'm happy I chose this clinic!

I visited this clinic for the first time today, and I feel like I got pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. My dog was suffering from what turned out to be a bad allergy, and I just wanted to get it quickly taken care of. I was able to make an appointment the day before, I didn't have to wait before being seen, the staff were very patient and polite, and the vet (Dr Werner) had a great bedside manner. I cannot say enough good things about Brykerwood, Dr. Moore, Dr. Werner and Dr. Baker treated my beautiful kitty with the utmost care. He became very ill with a blocked urinary tract and had to be hospitalized for 4 days. We initially took him to another Vet Clinic as it was closer to our home. They said they would not treat him with out the full amount of over a thousand dollars paid up front. Our funds are very limited and there was no way to pay the amount they asked up front.
