I have been going to brykerwood for many years. My dogs mean the world to me and dr Biehle and dr baker are the best. I am very grateful for all that they do. Everyone there is compassionate and kind. I know my babies are getting the best care

I have two dogs and two children. If you think your dogs are your children, then I really don't understand you. And my review will not be helpful to you. For seven years, I have taken my dogs to Brykerwoods. I can see my vet when I need to. My dogs are well cared for and the staff at reception and in the back are always kind and considerate to them. I weigh them on a stainless steel scale in the front (it is clean it does not have mucous or worse on it). Stainless steel, by the way, is used in doctor's offices and ki... read more

We recently picked up a new cat at town lake animal shelter, took it home and within two days she started sneezing. We took her to Brykerwood animal hospital and they put her on subcue fluids. We had wanted to do them at home but I didnt feel very confident in doing it myself so we brought him back in and one of the technicians did it for us. I have to say this was one of the best expereinces going to a veterinarian Id ever had. The technician (I think his name was Stephen) was amazing! He showed us multiple ways to give t... read more

The vet that Betsy C. is referring to is Dr. Stephanie Baker. I took my geriatric cat in to see her this morning and it was literally the best vet experience I have ever had. Compassionate, unhurried, and SMART! I have a new vet home with Dr. Baker.

Many years ago I drove from Houston to Austin because I didn't trust anybody except for Dr. Greg Biehle to attend to our ailing cat. Recently, we had to let our beloved dog Barkley go and we're grateful to Dr. Biehle and his staff for helping us through this painful event. Our dog was always so happy at the vet's, and it was clear that he trusted the vets and the staff who all treated him with such kindness. We thank all of you for your love of the animals and your concern for their wellbeing. Ingrid Edlund-Berrry

There is not enough good that I can say about Brykerwood Veterinary Clinic and it 's staff. A couple of years ago, my sweet boy became very ill, and I had gone to Dr. Biehle as a strong recommendation to me by my family.. It's funny, but after Dr. Biehle had told me that he would find out what was wrong with my little guy, and will take care of him, I was completely at ease. I had another close call a few months back, and this time my little buddy was extremely sick, and we were told that it was possible that he would not... read more

This is definitely the best vet in austin. I have gone to a couple others for yearly shots for my 2 older dogs, but when we got a 3rd puppy I wanted to find a place that we liked and could consistently go to, this is the place. Every single person there is caring, nice, and knowledgeable. At other vets they seemed like they just wanted to get you out and get their money and didn't seem like they actually even like animals, but Brykerwood is awesome and as long as I have pets I will go to them!

Writing a review about a veterinary clinic is like writing a review about my kid's pediatrician (if I had kids, which I don't because I choose to have animals instead). Yes, I'm a freak about my animals and I don't trust just anyone to take care of their hairy, sometimes-stinky little selves. But they're mine and I want them well cared for. Brykerwood has always shown the upmost kindness to my animals and their prices aren't sky high like my previous vet. My only complaint (and it's minor because this is, after all, a vet c... read more

Brykerwood Vet has treated our animals since 1987. Their care has been exemplary, and their compassion for our pets and for us has been exceptional. The first time we had to have a pet put down (in 1988), Greg Biehle spent an hour with me, accompanied me to my car, and gave me a box of tissues. The clinic sent me flowers the next day. They recently helped us get through the death (at home) of our 17-yr.-old cat. They didn't go to the extreme of sending flowers, but Dr. Haley called me the next day to give me her condolen... read more
