The gentleman was on time, and provided a lot of great information. He told me not to waterproof my walls with the dry lock paint at home depot but instead suggested purchasing a new dehumidifier from his company that would help keep the whole basement dry and would cost less than running the two that we have running now. The cost is estimated to be about $40 less a month than we are paying now for electric costs. It went great. On the day that the basement was waterproofed the team arrived on time, they covered everything to be sure nothing got dust on it (to waterproof the basement they had to jackhammer the basement floor and install piping), and did a terrific job, even finishing a little earlier than estimated. I was concerned because the space they had to work in was tight and near my oil tank, but I needn't have worried - they did a fantastic job. We have both finished and unfinished sections of basement, with historic water issues. We have an extensive sump pump system which has, until now, kept them dry. I was given a variety of options to solve my basement flooding problem. All explanations were clear and specific. The estimate seemed fair. I was able to schedule the work fairly quickly and the work team was great. They came early, finished in the time promised and were neat and professional. The only problem was that they cut my invisible dog fence line, which was partly my fault since I did not think to warn them it was there. Budget Dry Waterproofingcame and gave me an estimate and it was a good estimate and I told them to go ahead with the work. These guys are good, they also advertise the fact that they give a 10% discount. They do have some awards from Angie's List, I'm told, and documentation to show that. They were doing an estimate for, the Bilco, which is a standard product for hatchways to basements, it's a cellar hatchway.

We initially met with one of the companies senior project managers, who came out to our home to inspect the issue. Priced way too high for work that I did not believe was necessary based on another estimate I received from another company. The salesperson was very nice and not a high pressure salesperson, which I appreciated. I would suggest, however, that he not chew gum throughout the entire sales call though. Provided an estimate for basement waterproofing.
