Everybody was very helpful and checked I was OK all the time. Food was excellent. Room and surroundings perfect. The other people I did meet up with were good company. Disappointed there were no extra activities laid on.

We stayed at The Lodge at Burcot Grange, as my wife had recently had an operation and I suffer from the efforts of a stoke, therefore required personal care. The care was of a very high standard. The facilities were excellent and the staff fantastic, going over and above to care for us. My only concern was that the food was too much, three courses, lunch and dinner, everyone was useful and really did give us the respite that we required.

The staff, form the administration, through to the carers have taken a personal interest in the welfare of the residents and work very hard to ensure their stay at the Lodge is as good as it can be. This last stay is fifth stay and although now busier, still provides excellent care. The staff are always positive and even when faced with difficult situations, remain calm and treat residents with kindness and dignity.
Excellent care and attention night and day. I was treated with kindness and respect. Plenty of food good quality and variety. Drinks always available day and night. Pleasant, clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant decor. The staff always willing to sort any problems or difficulties with a smile and a pleasant word. I would go again if needed.

The Lodge had only been opened for 2 weeks before my stay. Everything will doubtlessly improve as the systems and staff "settle in".

First time at Burcot Grange, very helpful, clean and a willing to help. Mum has vascular dementia and she is not mobile at all. She loved her stay for a week and next respite, I will use them again.

My stay at The Lodge at Burcot Grange was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All meals were homemade and tasty. I felt very welcome and included in activities. My room was very clean and tidy and a good size with lots of storage space. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a respite or residential stay.

This was mum's 2nd stay for respite. The staff are very welcoming and caring. Mum's room was lovely. The Lodge is like staying in a 5-star hotel. Mum thought she was in a hotel. I was very happy knowing my mum was happy and well cared for whilst I was away.

Have always found staff caring and helpful. Always professional in manner. Always approachable, listen and respond to concerns. It's very difficult to hand over care of a loved one - you need to feel that you can trust the caregiver. I honestly feel that the staff have respect and understand the unique problems of loved ones suffering from dementia.
