I've left a review before regarding The Lodge where my mother has been a resident since December 2019. I've not been able to see my mother since her 80th birthday on March 16th due to the current Coronavirus situation. I've spoken regularly to her. I just wanted to thank everyone at The Lodge for keeping all the residents safe and well. You have all gone above and beyond risking your lives and your families lives. You, like all the other people, are heroes. Hold your heads high and keep safe. Kind regards.

I was very impressed with The Lodge, Burcot. Staff very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was also first-class home cooking, and the shortbread biscuits were to die for. The entire place was very professionally run and I only wish you had been built when my parents had to be cared for several years ago.

From my first initial call to The Lodge, I felt totally confident that my aunt would receive fantastic care, and I wasn't disappointed. I was blown away by the welcome she received, and from that moment on she was treated with extreme professionalism, care, love, dignity and dedication from every member of staff. I am a wheelchair user and found The Lodge to be ideal for me to move freely around the property. My room was clean and suitable for my needs with a profile bed and a lovely view into the courtyard. The staff were very friendly and assisted me at all times. They were very attentive and managed my needs very well. The food was plentiful and varied, there was always a choice. My brother really enjoys his time at Burcot Lodge for respite and treats it as a holiday. I can relax knowing he is happy and very well cared for. Wonderful staff and a lovely comfortable room.

Everybody was very helpful and checked I was OK all the time. Food was excellent. Room and surroundings perfect. The other people I did meet up with were good company. Disappointed there were no extra activities laid on.

We stayed at The Lodge at Burcot Grange, as my wife had recently had an operation and I suffer from the efforts of a stoke, therefore required personal care. The care was of a very high standard. The facilities were excellent and the staff fantastic, going over and above to care for us. My only concern was that the food was too much, three courses, lunch and dinner, everyone was useful and really did give us the respite that we required.

The staff, form the administration, through to the carers have taken a personal interest in the welfare of the residents and work very hard to ensure their stay at the Lodge is as good as it can be. This last stay is fifth stay and although now busier, still provides excellent care. The staff are always positive and even when faced with difficult situations, remain calm and treat residents with kindness and dignity.

Excellent care and attention night and day. I was treated with kindness and respect. Plenty of food good quality and variety. Drinks always available day and night. Pleasant, clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant decor. The staff always willing to sort any problems or difficulties with a smile and a pleasant word. I would go again if needed.
