My mother-in-law was at Burcot Grange for 9 months. It was a difficult decision to move her from her long term home to Burcot. This decision was made much easier with the first visit made by a senior nurse at Burcot. He put us all at ease and showed real care and understanding. All staff from nurses to receptionist to the maintenance man treated my mother-in-law as an individual showing care compassion and treated her with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble. The team at Burcot are extremely caring and attentive. They are open to any suggestions ensuring that the resident's individual needs are at the forefront of any decisions. They are constantly reviewing if there is anything more that can be done. Throughout lockdown, they have all done a fantastic job in minimising the risk to residents whilst keeping the families informed and in touch with their loved ones as much as possible. Thank you.

We feel so very lucky to have found the most amazing care home in The Lodge at Burcot Grange. After 69 years of marriage, we were faced with the prospect of having to split up my in-laws, due to my father-in-law needing specialist dementia care, whilst my mother-in-law was just facing the physical challenges of being 90. The Lodge at Burcot is very impressive, providing excellent, professional care in wonderful surroundings. The standard of cleanliness is exceptional and the rooms provide a comfortable, high-quality environment for residents with fantastic food and a range of varied, enjoyable activities. I've left a review before regarding The Lodge where my mother has been a resident since December 2019. I've not been able to see my mother since her 80th birthday on March 16th due to the current Coronavirus situation. I've spoken regularly to her. I just wanted to thank everyone at The Lodge for keeping all the residents safe and well. You have all gone above and beyond risking your lives and your families lives. You, like all the other people, are heroes. Hold your heads high and keep safe. Kind regards.

I was very impressed with The Lodge, Burcot. Staff very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was also first-class home cooking, and the shortbread biscuits were to die for. The entire place was very professionally run and I only wish you had been built when my parents had to be cared for several years ago.

From my first initial call to The Lodge, I felt totally confident that my aunt would receive fantastic care, and I wasn't disappointed. I am a wheelchair user and found The Lodge to be ideal for me to move freely around the property. My room was clean and suitable for my needs with a profile bed and a lovely view into the courtyard. The staff were very friendly and assisted me at all times. They were very attentive and managed my needs very well. The food was plentiful and varied, there was always a choice. My brother really enjoys his time at Burcot Lodge for respite and treats it as a holiday. I can relax knowing he is happy and very well cared for. Wonderful staff and a lovely comfortable room.
