Going here for years. It used to be exciting and yummy. Now just noisy and ridiculously expensive. FIFTY dollars for veal parmigiana, with an additional $10.00 share charge. Insulting. Will not be going back.
This meal was terrible. The servers were rude. Our server in particular was incapable. He spilled wine every time he poured it, picked up a fork from the floor and placed it back on the table, and was overall incredibly awkward. We were made to feel very uncomfortable. The food was good - nothing special, but a solid meal - but it was not worth the experience. I will not be back.
Mediocre food, very overworked inattentive waiter and noisy. This was at brunch on a Saturday at 12:15. There are better restaurants in the area.
Have dined at Cafe Fiorello a number of times. My friend and I were very disappointed with the extremely poor service, In addition, the tables outside were pushed together so tightly everyone felt they were have diner at a community table. We will not go back.
a stand by for lincoln center evenings and a must for summer outings there, the cafe outside is perfect. not only was the food abominably slow, we got at least two items on the anitpasti dish we had not ordered and never got the corrected ones. the dinner came so late we had to rush to finish in time for the show. unfortunate night. the people seated next to us just left before being served. it was ridiculous.
The noise level was almost unbearable and the tables were placed so closely together that in order for us to leave our table and exit the restaurant we had to ask someone at the next table to get up so we could get past. We have eaten here many times before but almost always outside so we did not have to contend with these problems.
We were asked if we wanted a seat by the window. We did. We were among the first to arrive at a window seat. Subsequently several more parties tried window seats and refused or left after being seated in what is the equivalent of a coach class middle seat. There was literally no more than 3 inches between our table and adjacent ones on either side. This isn't just precious NYC real estate, this is just blind greed on the part of the restaurant which treats diners like cattle. Remove at least one of the "window" tables and it... read more
We arrived on time, were quickly seated and then waited. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, 45 minutes to get our lunch, 15 minutes to get the wrong order for dessert and 10 minutes to chase down the waiter for the check. We weren't alone. Two women at a nearby table were frantic to get away in order to get to the ballet. We left them still searching for their check. We always eat at Fiorello's when we go to Lincoln Center. Convenient location, very good food, comfortable atmosphere, pleasant service. Our latest visit was... read more
Tho it was a lovely day and very nice to have lunch outside, our service was awful and when food finally came it was barely warm. Ver disappointing
