Had a very bad experience Sat. evening at Fiorello. Entrée was extremely slow arriving. Had to leave without dinner in order to be on time for our performance. Highly unlikely we will return to Fiorello.
The portions were tiny and the food was over priced.
I used to like it but haven't been here for the past 10 months. Every dishes I ordered was awful, even the side dishes, even the fried artichokes not good. The whole bronzino fish tasted terrible that I didn't even know it could ever be. I couldn't even eat half of it. The same with my friend's order. The two older women in the next table ordered completely different thing and I kept on looking over their dishes. At the end, I asked the waitress if they had a new cook, to which she responded that the new cook had been there ... read more
I took my family here before a family friendly version of "The Magic Flute" at the Met. My father used to take me here pre/post opera performances when I was a student and we always had reasonably good food and service. We had reservations for 545 and the place was absolutely packed. I have been here many time and really liked it. last week they had a new menu which was at best boring and they have increased the pricies far beyond what this place is worth. It was noisy, no more flatbread, no pizza after 4PM mediocre food and pricey I can get fine dining for the prices they now charge.
Extremely disappointed - an Italian restaurant that ran out of lasagna, ravioli and canoli - how does that happen?. We invited friends to dinner and apologized throughout our meal for not having the food they wanted to order. We won't be coming back.
While the food was good, if overpriced, the service was horrible. They were out of chicken parm at 4:00 on a Saturday. The waiter was awful. We were seated at a small table for 6 & the 2 tables next to us were on top of us. We couldn't move. Would not return
Acceptable for after opera dinner, but too expensive for food quality and too noisy
The restaurant did not honor the opentable reservation on Christmas day, and we had to go looking for another place. Very unprofessional.
