The regular staff obviously had New Years Day off, and the replacements were not very good. Extremely slow service - it took us almost 2 hours for lunch! Good thing we didn't have theater tickets. Had to ask for things several times, staff was not very responsive. As for the the food, we were one of the first people in the restaurant, yet they were out of a main dessert (Tiramisu)! This establishment is going downhill fast: Busboys who do nothing but look-no water refills, no bread refills, missing cutlery, SLOW service-despite telling the waiter upon arrival of curtain time, we had to gulp coffee and couldn't stay for desert, having to ask a wandering maitre'd (lots of them)for a missing beverage; unreliable cuisine- tasteless veal, not a drop of dressing or oil on the salad; scrimping- a Caprese salad is now comprised of a SINGLE slice of grocery store tomato a SINGLE 2" piece of cheese, a SMALL sect... read more

We have been eating at Cafe Fiorello's for years, however, the restaurant has gotten too expensive for the quality of the food. The veal parmagian was discusting, dry, tasteless, much too large and expensive. Un-appetizing to say the least!

Each time i go here I feel the service is less than desirable. Servers don't pay attention to their tables as well as they should and even the bus boys or serving assistants don't keep a good eye on their tables. I had to get up twice in one visit just to track down someone to help us after they were in our area and completely ignored us. This has happened both inside and outside dining. If you like your Burrata to taste like Philadelphia Cream Cheese, your Pasta Fagioli to taste like puréed cardboard, and your Bucatini as if you poured a jar of Ragu, then this is the place for you. Felt bad for the waiter - nice enough for sure, and not his fault that the kitchen is so bad. On the surface, they deserve some points for the attempt at inclusivity in the menu - multiple "vegan" options and pork free options.

Food was good but waited a long time for each course to be served. We had a reservation for lunch at 3:45 pm, arrived at 3:30 and were given dinner menus stating the website was wrong and dinner service started at 3 pm instead of 4 pm. The website has since been changed to state no set time for meals. One member of my party received the wrong pasta another a very small portion. Portions were inconsistent. Had very uninspiring food with a moderately pricey bill. I was also offered cheese on a seafood dish! We would never go back to this restaurant.

Crowded! Loud! Took almost an hour and a half to get our entrees after ordering with no reason...nothing taken off bill! Vegetable antipasti and buratto mozarella very good! Pasta very good!
