Perfect location and wonderful view. Nothing at all special on the menu. Soup was very bland & lemon chicken dish was in desperate need of flavor. Even though we accept the fact that we will pay more for the location, we also expect to find something special on the menu worth paying "extra" for. Alcoholic drinks were overpriced also but unfortunately not worth the price. We will probably return because of the excellent location near Lincoln Center, but we will probably only go for an early lunch & order a pizza.
A total waste of money. Food ranged from average (antepasto) to poor ( a veal social that was a deep fried disaster). The service was non-existant. We were never even asked if we wanted coffee after the meal. Anyplace would've been better
We ordered at 6:10 pm and did not get served until 7:20...table next to us arrived at 630 and were served at 7pm...seating is way too close for comfort ...the food was disappointing....not the fiorellos we knew and loved. The waiter was not at all on top of the problem...did not explain or offer anything...we had to wave him down to let him know we had not been served yet.
Portion sizes were insulting. We contacted management to let them know that they should be embarassed.
My dad really likes the seafood antipasti, so we often eat here before the opera. I don't think I'll be booking another reservation, though. Things were absolutely chaotic. Our main course took almost an hour to come, and tables on both sides of us were served espresso drinks that were undrinkably room temperature. Too bad!
Was out if practically everything on menu. The soup was completely bland and tuna was way too well done. New chef was terrible.
We really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and the servers were very nice. But, for an authentic Italian restaurant, we did not feel that the food was that great. It was very mediocre and lacked real flavor. Overall it was an Ok experience, but it could have been better, as far as the food.
We were greatly disappointed during our dining experience. We received the wrong order, the server did not offer dessert for the person who ordered the prix fix.
On the web site special attention was mentioned regarding dietary needs being honored. I only asked for unseasoned plain chicken and a simple salad without any oils or seasoning. Everything I asked for was rejected by a very pompous waiter. He seemed quite insulted when I asked to speak to the manager. By the time the manager came to the table all others in my party were 3/4 finished their meals which made it impossible to wait for food to be cooked. This restaurant is directly across the street from the Lincoln Center and w... read more
