The waiter doens't sound friendly when talking to us and behaves very impatient. Prosciutto and Arugula tastes bad
We ordered a five-cheese pizza but was first served a margharita pizza and secondly a pizza with eggplant and peppers on it...when we finally received our 5-cheese pizza after aboput an hour of waiting it had more crust than cheese and I doubt it had five cheeses on it. My caesar salad was also not prepared correctly.
I had dinner reservations at 6:30PM....waiter had to read the menu to take our order...at 8:00PM we still did not have our entrees....I had to complain to the GM....then they brought out the meal after 1 hour and 45 minutes.....food was overcooked and tasted like it was sitting out.....would never ever ever go back...worst experience ever!!!!!!!!
As a semi-regular at Cafe Fiorello this last visit was a genuine disappointment. The main culprit was a server who was more abrupt, on the point of rudeness, and not professional. Hr brought the check before our meal was finished, plunked it down on the table and said "my shift is ending". He also charged for two cups of coffee when only one was ordered and served. This is my second time at this restaurant. Service is terrible - food was not great. The ingredients were good, but the pasta was too cold when served; almost gave me the impression that they defrosted something and took it out of the oven/microwave too early. I chose this place to impress my guests but felt really embarrassed. Will never come here again, since I've been disappointed twice.
Fiorello's has upped their prices, packed the restaurant with more tables so that there is little space to move. the maitre'd was inexperienced had people stacked up waiting for tables. with the outside seating there is a shortage of waiters inside the restaurant, so that we had to wait to be seat to place our drink orders and food orders. They tried to stuff three people at atable barely big enough to seat two.
The portions were huge to make up for so so food. I am not a fan, but my husband does not agree. I feel there are too many other good choices out there. You can make an entire meal on any one item. I prefer more small courses.
Not rushing to go back. They were out of many of the antipasto items - at 6PM. We had a curtain and had ordered lightly, and the bill was ridiculously high without the food quality of other restaurants. In addition, the atmosphere was rushed, and the tables were too tightly squeezed together - not pleasant. If you had a noise rating of excessive or hard to hear conversations at the table, I might have checked that.
Tables much too close together, sitting on top of each other. Service so slow, that with a 5:45 pm reservation and an 8 pm show directly across the street, there was no time for coffee or dessert.
