We were shown our table at 8pm and although our friend was obviously elderly, no effort was made to help her sit down. We were seated between a young family with several infants who were loud and the busy kitchen with the crash of plates. We were not served for 20 mins. Nothing - water, bread, menu, until my husband complained. Then given a basket of dry bread no oil or butter. 3 of us ordered spaghetti cabonara thinking this would be easy and quick aand were given a plate of pasta mixed with cheese with a strip of bacon and... read more

This is a large restaurant, but you wouldn't know it from how cramped the seating is! Food is fine and prices are what you'd expect from the neighborhood.

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant - everything on the menu is good. The pizzas are thin crust with just the right amount of topping and the lasagna is amazing. This is a very busy restaurant and the service has never been great but the managers usually take care of problems. Food and drink prices are not cheap, but not too pricey. Food is very good. Tables are packed into the restaurant and noise is oppressive. Service is very slow to the point that we almost missed our theater curtain. There are other Italian restaurants with food just as good and a much better dining experience.

food was a mixed bag, some very good and some barely ok. Very noisy, cramped (window table). Don't go before or after Lincoln Center start/end times

...wait staff, reception still very good...prices have gone wild, esp in relation to prep quality...32. for snapper drowning in heavy tomato sauce and NOTHING else included does not call for a return visit...

while a convenient location to Lincoln Center the food /service/ and the closeness of tables to one another make this an experience not worth replicating

I've been to Cafe Fiorello many times, and quite frankly, this time was a disappointment. The food was overcooked (burned in some instances) and not really very tasty. It's as though there is a new chef who doesn't understand temperatures. Also, I never before had what was described as "ravioli" that had a pastry shell instead of pasta.
