First time at this restaurant. Selected because of proximity to Lincoln Center. Had a 6:30 pm reservation for a party of 8. All went reasonably well up to the point when we ordered coffee at 7:25. Waiter was aware we were going to the 8:00 performance at Lincoln Center. Needless to say we were not able to finish our coffees when they finally arrived and they had no "to go" hot cups. Also, a couple of the entrees had to be sent back because they were not hot. I would try a different restaurant in that same area the next time ... read more
Nice ambiance but otherwise over-rated. Who would want cookies from a large baking tray even before the appetizer has been served? Unimaginative menu
Don't try eating here without a reservation. Fixed price menu is also the way to to. Wanted to go back and eat pizza but never was able to.
A mob scene after our opera matinee. Even with a reservation, lots of yelling and jostling around the maitre d' stand. Strictly a churn-and-burn operation. Wood oven pizza not terrible, burger actually pretty tasty and cooked correctly, pasta was a gloppy mess and bread basket stale. Saving grace: fast service; our waiter was nice and professional if brusque. Wouldn't go back if you paid me. Not pleasant. If you care about food, don't go here.
Bring a shoe horn. You may need it to get into your seat. Just awful. Never for dinner again (have been for lunch and will go for lunch again).
All of our meals were luke warm at best. Never had this happen before anywhere.
the tables were crammed togeter so we had to move them to use the rest room. the waiter seemed disinterested and hurred. the food was average at best. The cold air from the door was blowing on us---very cold.
Undercooked liver, needed to be sent back to actually cook; shrimp scampi was tasteless and boring and served cool. Staff were overwhelmed by number of diners. Will not be going back nor would I recommend. Only positive is convenience to Lincoln Center.
Very disappointed, food was below average as was the service. The only benefit of Cafe Fiorello is its location - across from Lincoln Center.
