Liars and thieves They had my car for over 2 months guessing as to what was wrong. Sent me home with it after one month and it had the same issue. Limped it back in and they took another month to screw around with it. Charged 1200.00 for a transmission wire harness. Said it was fixed. Drove it off the lot and it stalled out in front of the dealership. Almost died as this was cutting across traffic on a left turn. A cop was there and stopped traffic and helped me push it back in. Rude and Unprofessional I am currently leasing a Jetta and I was called numerous times by Camelback Volkswagon to return my lease early. I spoke to a manager and was promised a certain deal for a new lease, so I drove over to Camelback Volkswagen. Let me remind you that this is during the pandemic and I have an autoimmune disease. I came in to replace my driver side doorhandle that has been cutting my fingers and making me bleed. The damage to the metal on the doorhandle which was cutting me was not caused from me being careless, it was due to normal wear and tear from a hand opening the door over 2 years and probably a fault in the manufacturing of that specific doorhandle. Dishonest Dealer The Camelback VW dealer is extremely dishonest. After negotiating for half a day and agreeing on a price the finance manager (Mr. Dennis) dishonored the deal and continued to be dishonest with us telling us that it was their mistake on the price they agreed upon and they would not be honoring the sale. I'd rate zero if I could - Buyers beware I'd purchased a new Mazda5 with lifetime oil change back in Dec 2013 from Camelback VW, Subaru, Mazda. Today, during regular maintenance service, I'd felt pushed to a corner in signing the service maintenance which stated, "...final free oil change". Camelback VW will no longer honor the lifetime free oil change service I paid for in my sales contract. I visited Camelback volts wagon to have a recall done on I visited Camelback Volkswagen to have a recall done on my 2009 CC. After they were done with the repair, they handed me a folder with over $5000 worth of recommended services, most of which I just literally had done the previous two weeks. Financial Smoke and Mirrors at VW Camelback I'll start off that I had a nice salesman; he was young and new to the auto sales biz. The financial practices at VW Camelback are deceiving and questionable. Bad experience. Agents are highly inexperienced. We're leasing the vehicle for the first time, and wanted to know how the monthly payment is calculated and how the initial money down would be counted towards the principal. They kept most information undercovers until the final signatures with the finance consultant who is a Mr. Know-it-all. Twisted our arm to buy the warranty...the usual scare tactics. One of the worst experiences at a car dealership! My wife spoke to Airius McClellen over the phone and via email about purchasing a 2019 Subaru Forester. My wife made it clear to both Van and Airius that she had a car to trade-in.
