Get directionsIt was a horrible experience for my father at this place, While he was in rehab they came and assessed him. They told us they would be able to take care of him. Within 3 hours of moving in, he fell and ended up in the Emergency Room. They did not have an alarm for him in his room, he fell several other times. I even had to pay extra to have a caregiver with him 12 hours a day. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
If only I could give CareOne a zero star! My father has advanced Alzheimer's disease. Following a hospital stay, the director of nursing from CareOne went to visit my father at the rehab to assess if CareOne would be able to care for his needs. The director was given full access to the nursing notes at the rehab and advised me that they would indeed be able to care for him. Once moved in, dad had 3 falls in 5 days due to the lack of supervision and required me to have a 12 hr. companion while he was awake to assure he did no... read more
We had an okay experience with this community. Unfortunately I did have to move my parents out, because their rates were getting to expensive. It is a well-kept community for the most part, but their room was always very cold. I just think they were not able to provide the level of care my parents needed.
I was in rehab Jan. 2017. First impression was that rooms are poorly maintained ... walls need painting, plumbing needs repair and poorly staffed. Nightly noise was terrible with patients screaming for help. Thought I was in insane asylum. Food was very good. Physical and occupational therapy was excellent! If it wasn't for the therapy I would not return.
The community is understaffed and the staff do not seem as though they are trained properly. It took about a month to get a room cleaned. The building is beautiful and they have spacious rooms with large windows. The food is eatable, however if you do not order from the menu it takes longer to get your food. I would not recommend this community.
The community was not what I was looking for. The feel was like you were in a nursing home or very clinical place. The staff might be good, but I did not like the community enough to send my dad there.
My father was in acute rehab in Care One for a few months..the biggest problem is they are UNDERSTAFFED resulting in NEGLIGENCE! Although the staff is relatively friendly, they are overworked and do not have the adequate time to give each patient timely and appropriate care. Sometimes after hitting the call button my father would have to wait over an hour to be changed, sitting in his own feces. And this is when I was there trying to find help in the hallways! It does no good to bring up your complaints internally because th... read more
My first impression during my tour of the lobby was a little disappointing. The residents where all just sitting in the lobby and they looked like zombies. There was no involvement with the staff going on and they just looked sad and depressed. I would not want my mother living in this community.
Respite Care - Never again Year 1 - Took mom there for 2 weeks - came home soiled and 20 pounds lighter - aides didn't feed her. Year 2 - Gave it a second chance - mom came home malnourished and crippled. They were supposed to walk her 15 minutes a day and feed her. They put her in a reclining wheel chair and left her there all day. CARE NONE - will never put a loved one there again.
