Expensive, nickel and dime you for unnecessary tests, and I have never spent less than 2 hours for an appointment. They do not respect your time or money. Some of the vets are not competent/have no attention to detail. My dog ripped his stitches out while in their care while their back was turned, requiring staples and prolonged healing...after we told them he would do this and not to leave his cone off. I have been taking my dog here for several years and was generally happy with the clinic. I needed a vaccine for my dog and nothing else since he just had a full check up. I made an appointment and received a total of ten reminders by phone , text and email to confirm my appointment. So I know they have my phone number. Brief update: They refused to acknowledge the mistake and told me I was no longer welcome at their practice when I said I wouldn't take the review down.

Since we moved we have taken our animals. Today, I dropped the kids off and had a cat & dog appointment. I ended up getting in early. (Thankfully for Starbucks was quick today). Nice people but this place is extremely expensive. 3.8lb puppy. $47.50 for a nail trim. How?

Factors like our late evening, Saturday hours, multiple doctors on each shift to accommodate the demand for appointments, and current quality equipment on site to uphold our standards of care do contribute to our overhead costs and pricing structure. Dr. Neuman is good but you can't get an appointment with him. The other vets vary between ok and awful. They're expensive and they do unnecessary procedures. If your dog has fleas, instead of just looking for them, they'll charge you $400+ for a skin scraping to tell you it's a flea allergy...all while fleas are jumping around. My dog got cancer, the vet knew from a blood test, and because she didn't think I could afford chemo, she refused to tell me. For 3+ years. I have two cats. I have taken them to Caring Hands for their yearly checkups for several years after moving into the area. At my checkup last summer, they informed me that my younger cat, who was 5 years old at the time, needed teeth cleaning and also several teeth removed. He was found as a stray and had chipped some teeth at some point. However, I had had him for a few years. He never had any problem, he eats his hard food, and I never noticed an issue. I wish I could give 0 stars, but that is a shortcoming of Yelp. Please consider this a 0 star review as well as a warning to NOT BRING YOUR PET here for any surgery. Took my cat, my best friend, in during March. Got a vaccine shot. Next day he had leg issues. Was told to take him to specialist. Ended up with neurological issues and blood clot. Yesterday I had to bury him. Can't be certain it was their fault but little empathy for his issues.
