The communication is awful. Requested a manager or Doctor to call me back. I had an issue with a urine sample. Told by two employees that the sample is only good for four hours. Regardless if it has been refrigerated. Apparently two other employees/ Vets said it should be fine. What a waste of time and money.
This vet does NOT care about your pets. I have been waiting DAYS for one of their doctors to call my pet's pharmacy to clarify a very simple instruction regarding the administration of the medication (it's an eye drop that he's taken nearly all his life). Because of their continued lack of concern or urgency, since ordering my prescription my dog has run out of this medicine he needs daily, multiple times a day. His eye is irritated and he's in pain. Ah, after reading the 1 star ratings, I remembered the name, Dr Neuman, who was the person responsible for my cat's horrific demise over a several day period. Please don't send me any more birthday e-cards, please don't call me to say you don't have any records of my two cats who have years ago died under your care while I have the proof that you just did send the HAPPY BIRTHDAY emails this month! I've been coming to this Caring Hands since they opened in 2011 in this location. I have thought well of them. One of their vets once drove one of my cats through an impending blizzard to get him to South Paws for lifesaving care, when he collapsed for the pet sitter and I was TDY in Baghdad. Update: per their request, I elaborated on the issue in an email on 9/20. As of today, I've not received a reply: Thanks for responding to my recent Yelp review. Per your request, I'm happy to elaborate the issue. It's not so much the prices themselves that are concerning, but the bait and switch about pricing. Let me tell you... this vet does not care about YOUR PET! They are very MONEY HUNGRY and unprofessional! I requested a prescription online a week ago. No one bothered to reach out to me regarding the prescription. I called 5 days later and left a detailed message. Still NOTHING! Expensive, nickel and dime you for unnecessary tests, and I have never spent less than 2 hours for an appointment. They do not respect your time or money. Some of the vets are not competent/have no attention to detail. My dog ripped his stitches out while in their care while their back was turned, requiring staples and prolonged healing...after we told them he would do this and not to leave his cone off. I have been taking my dog here for several years and was generally happy with the clinic. I needed a vaccine for my dog and nothing else since he just had a full check up. I made an appointment and received a total of ten reminders by phone , text and email to confirm my appointment. So I know they have my phone number.
