We have taken our little fluffy angel here 3 times. she is a new puppy, so not for sick purposes, but for initial shots and checkups. little Georgia loves Dr. Emily Evans, and we do too. I have had multiple vets before, and all have been great, but none have stood out like Emily does. its the little things, and you can just tell she truly found her calling as a vet, and Caring Hands is lucky to have her.

I took my cat in for a check-up, rabies vaccination, and claw clipping and got courteous service, quality care, and a bill that didn't clean out my checking account. I previously used VCA but got tired of the hard sell on everything from expensive pet food, overpriced flea medications, and unnecessary vitamins. My cat is certainly a welcomed addition in my household, but I refuse to pay $30 for a small bag of 'gourmet' cat food or pay more for her doctor's visits than I do for my own medical needs. Dr. Planeta takes extremely good care of our baby with fur, Samson. She always spend time petting him up before the examine. Samson loves her and she even gave us kudos for his 3.5 lb weight loss which was no easy feat but clearly extended his lifeline as she put it. Can't wait for our annual exam with her!!

Great place to take your animals. I take my dog and cat here. Recently my cat got sick and the doctor sent me off with meds but followed up with me via text and phone calls every day thereafter to see how he was doing. Little pricier than most but you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

I have been taking my cats to Caring Hands for 5 years now- first at the Arlington office, and at the Alexandria one since they opened. I honestly cannot recommend Caring Hands and specifically, Dr. Planeta and Dr. Snelgrove, enough. Truly, these two have been a Godsend to us. I adopted a kitty from a local shelter who became seriously ill. My dog Romeo developed cloudy, gooey eyes. He was lethargic and eventually his eyes closed overnight. Luckily, this vet hospital opens on Sundays (major plus!). I made an appointment right away and when I got there, was greeted with tender smiles and very positive energy. They gave special attention to my good boy Romeo while we waited for the vet. We have recently relocated here from New Hampshire and our four year old mix was in need of a new vet for some shots required to enroll her at a new doggy daycare. She has always had such terrible anxiety, and fear of new people and this move has made her even worse. Regardless, she is our baby and needed to have a check up. I've been taking my senior dog, Chloe here for about a year or so now. Their scheduling is super easy as they are open virtually all hours and the doctors and staff are super friendly. Will definitely keep taking Chloe here.

First of all, let me begin by saying this review is long overdue. And if I could give even more stars, I would.
