We had a recent experience with our cat, who developed an unusual and unfortunately fatal condition. Drs. Thornton and Gardiner were very professional and sensitive and staff was entirely professional at all times during multiple interactions and visits. They were sensitive to the costs of interventions, and provided treatment plans and estimates at every step. I wanted to write an update to my review after being in the Caring Hands family for a number of years (and now our family's second dog). I am forever grateful to Dr. Campfield and Dr. Thornton who were so compassionate and caring when it came to providing my dear Finn with his elder and ultimately end of life care. Caring Hands was recommended to me by Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation when I adopted my dog last year. CHAH has made every visit so easy. Dr. Thornton's genuine passion for working with animals shines through and she communicates medical info in an approachable way. How have I not reviewed this place yet... my ex and I take all of our pets here. They are amazing. Campfield, Thornton, Bush, Newman... There are so many reasons why we trust these vets. First off, you cannot beat that you are able to see all their facilities. It is not the same as other vets where they take them back. They actually invite you to be part of the care of your pet in the same way a doctor would have you present for the care of your child. We LOVE that. Dr. Canfield and everyone at Caring Hands is truly amazing. They are knowledgeable, kind, genuine and nice. This is what a neighborhood veternarian's office should be like.

I am so grateful to the vets and staff at Caring Hands for helping me with Kitty - I brought her in 6 months ago thinking it was her last day, and with a few non-invasive solutions, she got to happily hang out with me for another 6 months. I have been here a few times now for both my dog and my cat. They are caring and really listen to me and my concerns or the situation at hand when we did have an emergency. Dr. Bush has been phenomenal for both my cat when he had a urinary blockage and my very anxious dog who she calmed quickly and professionally. She didn't rush him or us, and learned what to look for from our own advice and her expertise caring for dogs.
