So nice! I went there to ask about a safe TREAT for my friends dog. Dr.Streck and her nurse were INCREDIBLY KIND AND FRIENDLY. THEY TOLD ME WHAT TO BUY. Did you know that xylitol the artificial sweetener is FATAL TO dogs? It causes their blood sugar level to drop , plunge. Look out for that in peanut butter. Thank you Dr.Streck! WHEN I adopt a dog, I would want you for his/ her vet.

This place is fantastic, so glad I found it. As a new pet owner I really appreciate how available everyone here is. I was heading out of town and realized that my puppy had a bit of a rash, but I was already on the road so I couldn't head to my normal vet at this location. I sent an email and a veterinarian got right back to me. They always have treats for my dog and are able to make him comfortable while he's there, which is really helpful because he is very skittish. Very kind and caring. Clean facilities and attention to details to keep pets calm and happy is evident everywhere. I love that the doctors are down to earth in both temperament and fees for service. Genuinely felt they cared for my cat's wellbeing.

I recently moved from CA and was nervous about finding a new vet for my dog Bentley because he can be a handful. He's a rescue and generally shows aggressive tendencies when he gets nervous or scared. His behavior has prevented previous vets from being able to do a comprehensive exam so usually his shots were all that could be done, and not without stress on my little guy. We recently switched from another vet. Dr. Streck and her staff are indeed very caring and prices seem reasonable. She took the time to make my dog (who is skittish at vet offices) feel comfortable and went out of her way to follow up on doggie's condition. Great to have a good vet in this neighborhood!

I recently moved about 15 minutes away from Rockville and was looking for a new vet for my pets for a little while. Little did I know my kitty wanted to go to the vet sooner than she needed to and ate some plastic that got lodged in her intestines and needed to be surgically removed. I was able to get a same day, evening appointment which I know are hard to come by. The office is clean and modern and I love the fact that they keep the cat and dog areas separate. 5 out of 5 stars is not enough for this vet. We took in our 3 year old cat who was throwing up bile. She was very ill, and they nursed her back to health. Not only did they take great medical care of her, but they explained everything to us and told us when things were serious and when we could relax. They sent us pictures of her and were genuinely caring. As long as we are in the area, Caring Hands will be our vet.

My three dogs and two cats see Dr. Streck and we love her and the staff. Everyone is so friendly. One of my dogs is ultra fearful (he's a rescue from a hoarding case and was never properly socialized) and everyone on the staff was very respectful of his special needs. The coolest thing was that I was able to watch my puppy's neutering. That's probably not cool at all for some people, but I found it really interesting to watch Dr. Streck in the operating room and be there next to my puppy as he was waking up. I came to Caring Hands after adopting my puppy from Homeward Trails for the complementary wellness exam. The facility is brand new and very clean, and conveniently located. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Dr. Marci Streck took great care of my puppy and made sure she was nice and healthy. The only complaint I have is how expensive their prices are!! I asked for a spay consult and it was almost $500.
