I've had a great experience taking my dogs to this vet. They've been 'patients' at Caring Hands for over 3 years. I feel the prices are very fair for the area, and the quality of the veterinary care has been good.

We live part time in DC and part time in FL. I am so happy we found Caring Hands Rockville. Both Dr. Akande and Dr. Reynolds have been so accessible in answering questions, following up on our dog's care. Their hours are so convenient and it is worth the drive for us. The vet techs and staff are caring, helpful and kind. The best in the DMV.

We are so lucky that Caring Hands in Rockville is the closest vet to our house, because Dr. Streck's attentiveness literally saved our dog's life. Last year, we brought our four year old golden retriever, Milton, to Caring Hands for what we thought was a bee sting. Dr. Streck thought it might be a tooth abscess, and we scheduled a dental cleaning with an aspirate of the area for the next day. After taking my foster cats here, I decided to switch my own cat over to Caring Hands, and I'm glad I did. All the vets are incredible, plus very thorough and responsive to any questions. The front desk staff are also amazing, as are the vet techs. They have great procedures in place for COVID that made me feel safe while still feeling very well informed about what happened at the visit.

Dr. Reynolds was extremely caring, and so great with my family on our saddest day. We had to make the hard decision to put our 16 year old cat to sleep. The staff and doctor was great, very supportive, and helpful. The euthanasia "room" was very nice- with a couch and tissues. We got a clay paw print done of our sweet boy in his last moments, and afterwards the staff sent us a hand written card in the mail. The end of life care provided was certainly one to recommend.

Yesterday I put my Cookie to rest. I wanted to give Dr. Reynolds and her staff a big thank you for all their support. Cookie had kidney disease and Dr. Reynolds sent me many, many emails with guidance after every check up during the course of her treatment. The disease is brutal and extremely stressful. My Cookie not only had CKD but also battled existing EPI. This made things even more complicated. I've used them once for a foster dog and a few times for our new puppy now 14 weeks old. Staff and doctors are friendly. I want to believe their care is good as well, but there have been lapses in communication, some serious, causing me to rate them at 3 for now, will update later if I stay and have more confidence. The hospital lost medical records from the breeder that we provided. They miscommunicated how many visits a new puppy needs ( said three, ended up with six, although there are no health issues). I am so glad I discovered Caring Hands and have been so happy with the care that my two kittens have received, and the stellar customer service. I think my number one favorite thing about this vet is that they have electronic typed records and an app (VitusVet) where you can view all of your pet's records. Just wanted note how awesome Dr. Reynolds and team have been, especially in the past few weeks. I've been working with Caring Hands to get several blood tests, vaccines, an International Health Certificate (USDA approved) and COVID-19 test done so my pup (Sebastian) can travel abroad. Everything has to happen less than 10 days prior to the date of travel, so it's been a hectic (and expensive) process.
