Very fair pricing, and no issues whatsoever with our cross-country move. Packers and movers were on time for every step. Plus the responsiveness for questions/updates is worlds better than larger operations (we moved with a national carrier before this). You should absolutely go with Carmack if they are available for your moving dates.

My experience with Carmack was great from my initial meeting with Debbie to the delivery of my goods in Michigan. The actual weight of the shipment was in line with the estimate which is very important in planning your moving budget. Watch out for companies who give you a lower weight estimate to try to earn your business. Debbie is wonderful! Her level of communication is beyond expectations! From beginning to end, Carmack was professional, quick, and easy to work with. It was wonderful from start to finish! Debbie was able to provide me with a spot on quote just from speaking on the phone and her rates were very reasonable-- no extra fee for moving on a Saturday! The movers themselves were INCREDIBLE! I cannot believe how quickly they worked! A lot of our furniture I wouldn't have deemed worthy of being wrapped and treated with TLC, but they took careful care of every single piece they moved.
