Carmack was excellent. Fantastic customer service..they were friendly and reasonable to deal with. Also very responsive given the incredibly busy time period of the move. They were professional, only required a reasonable deposit, and allowed it to be paid via credit card (NOTE, allowing payment via credit card is a sign of a company that stands behind their product--a lesson a friend learned elsewhere the hard way). From the timely and friendly estimate to the last minute change in delivery, Carmack made our move effortless. Their crew worked quickly in unloading a single family home, with over 100 boxes and another 100 non-boxed items. They even created shelving in the truck for some of our hunting trophies. I had recently retired and was moving from Alexandria, VAto a small town in WV. This was a very stressful time for me. However, Carmack made the move much easier for me. Debbie Gass, who packed me, was incredibly organizedand very careful of all items to be packed including 2 china cabinets!! unknown The two movers with a big truck came to the storage area in Manassas; they kept in touch via phone to let me know their arrival time (early). Move went easy, and they left to drive to final location. I was happy with their efficient delivery and clean up.

Carmack is great! Mike met us at our townhouse a couple weeks prior to the move and scoped out what we had to move and gave us some tips on packing and what kind of boxes to buy. On the day of the move the team showed up right on time and got to work. They had half of our house packed up in under an hour and we were completely packed within two hours - amazing. unknown Only complaint was didn't get exactly what was paid for. The deal was for four men and got three. The three that did the job worked hard and did great job.

The movers did an excellent job on both ends of the project. Everything was done very competently and in a timely manner. Ernesto and his crew were very cooperative, didn't damage anything, and successfully followed detailed directions from me in terms of the placement of furniture items and boxes on the move back into the house.
