Everything was great. Movers were on time, professional and the final price was what was quoted. I have had movers jack up the price when they had my goods in their possession, I have had them drink the beer out my refrigerator WHILE they were moving my stuff...but these guys were great and I will use them again if/when I move next; it's nice to be able to trust the movers. it's nice to be able to trust your movers. My husband found Carmack on Angie's List, and they were highly rated. He called in and spoke to a lovely lady who gave us a quote right over the phone. We decide to go with them based on their pricing and reviews. Couldn't be happier! The crew showed up right on time- within a minute of when they said they would(!), were polite, and personable. (As a follow up to our previous review, including some duplicate language, here is another review after the move to Florida was completed.) The service was fantastic. The packers arrived on time and finished packing our belongings within 4 hours. The next morning, the furniture and boxes were loaded onto the trucks without a hitch. All the while, the packers and movers took great care of our belongings and of the walls, carpet, and hardwood floors in our house. It was a great experience. Debbie was very clear with the scope of work and the costs and what I should expect the day of the move. The crew was right on time and very efficient to keep the move within the estimated timeframe. I was very pleased and would recommend Carmack Moving. I needed to move residences.

This company ticks all the boxes - they are professional, courteous, responsive, fairly priced, and do quality work. From start to finish my experience with Carmack was completely positive. I used their website to request a quote and was quickly contacted by Debbie. It's not often that you get to use a moving service twice in the span of a couple of weeks. But we had to move our stuff to the basement of a new house, wait for work to complete, and then get it moved out of the basement to the finished home. For the first move from the old house to the basement of the new house, Ernesto and his crew showed up in a truck a little early and got to work. Since I am a novice at moving, we felt the move went very good. Carmack staff was very helpful, understanding, and professional. I commend Debbie and Kirk for all their advice and assistance in making this process smooth and much uneventful. They worked well with scheduling and were prompt with delivery. Using Angie's List and researching movers, we finally decided on Carmack Moving and Storage in June 2017 for our cross-country move. Founder Rob Carmack impressed us with his many years' experience and expertise--as well as his affable personality. The enthusiastic reviews of Carmack further gave us confidence that they could do the job.
