It went great. I called the company expecting I needed a larger package deal, and was told that the men were used to hauling large objects, and it wasn't going to require as many men or as much time as I thought to transport the furniture for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. After pointing me to a lower priced option that would meet my needs, I payed the deal price, which was around $800 to have four men for two hours. As a former military family we've had our share of moves. This last one was, hands down, the best. Debbie is a superstar, highly responsive, personable, and her estimate was nearly perfect. This is the first time I've ever had the same crew pack and then move; it made a difference. They happily used boxes I already had, saving me a ton of $$. They also moved boxes I had packed without complaint. I can not say enough good things about them! packing and moving from old house to new

I got Carmack as a recommendation and saw they received an A+ from BBB. I had found three different moving companies I had planned to call and get quotes from and Carmack was first on the list. I never made the other calls. I was impressed from the get-go with Debbie. We were able to change our move date last minute since our house wasn’t ready when we expected. Since we lived so far from the company, Debbie did our estimate over the phone. She had me walk the house and list everything that would be moving. Her estimate ended up being a bit higher than the actual cost of the move. The refund was processed quickly. Everyone at the company has been excellent to deal with. Very well. Five-man crew arrived on time. Foreman inventoried all contents. All furnishings wrapped in blankets and/or plastic wrap as appropriate. The house itself was protected. The entire job was completed in less than 4 hours. One factor I considered in selecting Carmack was that they load directly into storage crates on site. Other companies I considered move into the truck, then off load the truck into crates at the warehouse. In my opinion, double the handling doubles the possibility of damage. the movers came on time and did a wonderful job. needed them to move big items and some boxes. they did the job in 3.5 hours. they showed up on time and got straight to work. they wrapped leather furniture to keep from getting damaged from doorways. short move

Movers arrived on time and began packing up the Apartment. The entire 750 square foot apartment was packed and ready to leave in about four hours. The drivers then headed to the new Townhouse that was 30+ miles away. Afterwards, the drivers unloaded each box or item into the identified spaces. All of the closets were setup as before and the process was remarkably seamless. After the move, repeated inspections showed no damage to any items whatsoever. The packing of my household goods and then the inventory and loading of the truck in MD the next day was something to watch - I'm sure it could not have been done better or gone more smoothly. I'm not done unpacking in CA yet, but I've run across very little breakage or damage so far (a few minor nicks on some wood furniture (that most wouldn't even notice), a cheap candle holder chipped).
