Shocked by great reviews - stay clear of 304. I was really surprised after all the great reviews to find our room to be really bad. Maybe it's the bad apple. In case it is... stay clear of 304. Dingy, dirty carpet and finishes that show their age. A ceiling fan that is noisy. And all the lights are on timers and motion sensors... very annoying. Fair The downsides were the room’s carpet was absolutely disgusting my kids feet were black within a few minutes of walking around. The main switch that runs the fan must be on a timer because it kept turning off during the night were melting. Location was great, the beds were comfortable. The house keeping lady was very nice and working very hard.

love carmel! loved free breakfast! loved parking availability! No pets allowed is a plus for me! The room was pricey, understand it IS Carmel though. Also, no bathtub. Sink faucet was loose in bathroom. Had to turn off just right or else water flowed! Roger at the front desk was very sweet. He honored our request for a second floor room. He was informative and also busy delivering the breakfast basket in the morning to the rooms with a smile. wow!
Fair Noisy street level, noisy people walking back and forth overhead. No privacy because of street level traffic. Breakfast is misleading it’s not really a hot breakfast. Location and plenty of restaurants in the area.
Fair The Continental breakfast was a joke. They had a brown bag sitting on the counter with a over ripe 1 banana 1 granola bar 2 Danish things he said take one please coffee was horrible. The bed was on something wobbly because every time my husband moved it would wake me up. This normally doesn’t happen. Location was nice.

Fair The noise level from different sources. Noisy business near by, noisy neighbor, the owner sat outside nd talked loudly on the phone for at least 30-60 minutes while we were trying to rest. There was packaged chemical laden, unhealthy “pastries” for our continental breakfast. The cleaning woman was excellent and the facilities were clean, it was a great location, and the owner was pleasant and helpful. We did have bananas and apples to eat as part of the bagged continental breakfast.
