Although I didn't find a pair of boots (because I was looking for a very particular color) I did manage to find a cute top. The prices on the boots I looked at ranged from $120 to $400 and there was a huge selection. The employees here were friendly and I was asked about 5 times by different people if I needed help with anything.
Wow! This is the place to go if you need boots. It's cool just browsing around checking out various boots and western-wear. If you want to find unique boots and are willing to shell out the dough, definitely head on over.
Great customer service which is so rare now days! They even cleaned and shaped my hat which I didn't buy from them for free (tips accepted). I will 100% come here next time to buy a hay or show shirts!
Have big feet and was lucky enough to find a pair of boots that were comfortable and visually nice. However the employee seemed very tired and kept his distance at least 90% of the time unless we called him to ask a question. Didn't even smile nor enthusiastic.
It's a must-stop place if you live in Dallas or are down here visiting. I walked wishing I had more money to buy some of the cutest outfits that they had. Plus I really wanted to get some stick horses/unicorns and cowboy hats for my nieces. They would have loved it. Instead I was selfish and bought myself a pair of boots. Customer service was friendly, even if the lady running the cash register was not the friendliest (or fastest), but you can't judge how cool the store is by something so silly. If you do go, definitely w... read more
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store! The sales people are the best I've ever dealt with. Patient, knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly. I have made two trips to Texas and stopped in Cavenders each visit buying a pair of boots both times. They also have a great selection of jeans, shirts, belts and sparkly girl stuff. Just make sure you bring some snacks b/c when you walk in it's going to be a while before you leave. Delbert was our sales guy, but Chris helped me when I came in to exchange for a different size and a young g... read more
Went in today for some last minute shopping and was able to find a dress shirt, wranglers and a great priced hat for a wedding UNDER $100 tell me that's not a deal! Got great help from Jose. That guy really went out of his way to show me some great deals will definitely be back to this store THANKS Jose
"Go to Cavender's"-- the answer to my question every time I, a newbie to TX, ask a native where I can get myself a nice pair of boots that don't cost me 1/2 my paycheck. And they would all be right! I'm also not the only one getting this advice since every pair of boots I liked was sold out in my size. All the more reason to come back again! Cavender's isn't just boots though, they also have a great affordable western clothing section to complete your honkytonk outfit. And throughout the store you will also find really n... read more
Since I am moving to Texas I thought I would look for some boots and a cowboy hat. When I walked in I was shocked at the size of the store. It was like a western Walmart! Boots, hats, western clothes, western home furnishings. They have it all. The only complaint I have is the clothes aren't fat people friendly, Unless you are skinny you aren't getting clothes here. The employees are not very helpful either. Maybe it's because I'm fat and they knew I couldn't buy anything so they didn't bother with me. Only one emplo... read more
