The promised window for a home service plus appt is 12hrs cable is better than that! I lost a day of work waiting to get my ac looked at! My house is hot as shit and I would have been off work over an hour ago and the still have not shown up! This seems to be how they always do things, and they always show up a half hour before the end of scheduling time! This is annoying at best hurtful at most!

I really can't believe that I never got my estimate! My AC unit went out 5/31/23. I scheduled an appt for them to come out and see what the problem was. I was able to get an appt 6/7/23 from 0800 to 2000. The service guy came out and found that my AC compressor was seized and he recommended replacement of the AC unit as he said it would not last very long since the unit was old. it is from 1989. Never buy any of their added services and CenterPoint only gives you the ability to put your bank account online for auto pay. Not putting my banking account number online and tired of having to pay go to thier website to pay every month and if I forget to pay because it's the only bill that I do not have on autopay, I get calls and texts when I am late and they want to shut off my services because they refuse to let me put my credit card online. I AGREE TO THE ADDED CHARGE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD. Very aggravating.

I cannot put into words how frustrated and disgusted I am with Center Point Energy Home service plus. I have made 3 appointments for our spring maintenance, no one has showed up for a single one of them. Now the earliest appt is Aug, why would I want my SPRING maintenance done at the end of the summer?!!!!! ZERO Stars....actually can I give negative stars? I am paying for a service I dont get to use

Just recently moved across the country and paid what I thought was my final bill. I was then sent a bill for 350 dollars claiming that I was on a payment plan that there is no record of me setting up, I was told I would be sent the transcript of a phone call that I know I did not make, and have not received anything yet. I logged onto CenterPoint energy to pay my gas bill. The website had a pop up stating Main Drain Emergency Cleaning Plan Get optional sewer coverage from Home Service Plus for $7.95/month. I thought that sounded like a good price and clicked Enroll now. In the 2nd screen the price jumped to $9.95/month. I called CenterPoint energy to ask about the price difference and they stated the price was $9.95 and that their website does not say $7.95. I offered to send a screenshot, but they did not want it. This online payment processing system is a scam. I have made payment attempts from my bank with accurate information & the system keeps claiming my bank I found and charging me nsf. This is the second time after a representative confirmed having my accurate bank info.

I have contacted Centerpoint three times and requested to speak with a supervisor and I have never received a return call. I've spent $60 a month for home service plus and in 10 months I've had 11 visits for the same problem that was never fixed, my furnace/heat. I've had to drop $4000 to replace the furnace that was only 3 years old after spending $720 on home service plus and the problem was never got fixed. The worst customer service experienceI ever had! Their Home Service Plus program is nothing but scam! It's never use it when you need it! You might as just save the $50 you give to this people every month to use it for whatever it is you need to fix when the time comes. That way it save you the headache of dealing with their customer service including their managers that's never on the same page and and also lie to your face!!
