I would rate them 0 if I could. Not reliable, take forever and try to get out of any work no matter how long you have paid for the service!

We pay every month for a service contract. When we call for service, which is rarely, we are told the appointment will be in two weeks. Our latest call was today, for an air conditioning issue at a condo where a person with health concerns lives. We were told it would be a two weeks wait! After several attempts we got a call back telling us they would be at the condo tonight between 6 and 9 PM. I waited until 9:30 Pm. No one showed up. In the past three years I've used Home Service Plus 5-6 times. They have always been very professional and helpful. Their staff are very experienced and polite. Just today, I had them out for air conditioner problems during this heat wave. They were amazing! My A/C is fixed and I am a very happy customer!

If you want a contractor that has a lack of communication and customer support look no further. CenterPoint Energy HSP is uniquely qualified to disappoint on a level which has not seen the light of days since the Old Testament. My interaction with the HSP sales process and management team has been nothing short of a disaster. They over promise and under-deliver. The knowledge of the employees is sub par at best. Terrible service plan, stay away and save your money. I recently signed up for water heater service and when the tech arrived late outside the appointment time by several hours advised he is unable to repair anything water related on the water heater because he is not a plumber. This is absolutely ridiculous given the nature of the water heater. Pay so much $$ for repairs and such terrible service. Just waiting all day and they canceled me and rescheduled me for tomorrow. I do have to work. So inconsiderate! Looks like lots of bad reviews here!

Home Service Plus: Furnace and air-condition installation date - 7/26/2018 This is a long overdue review for potential future customers. The bad - · Didn't put the furnace where I was told they were going to put it. · Installers installed my furnace with the furnace door facing the wall. Worst customer service I have ever had from HSP. Called made an appt. The tech that came out to check my washer was not trained to check my dryer as well. I had to reschedule with another tech that could spend more than 5 min with me. I made another appt and was notified the same morning that they couldn't come out because of weather, they had to work on furnaces I could understand that, however, they didn't give me any prior notice. Waited 2 weeks to have them come out too look at dishwasher . They had to order parts which is fine just sucks not having a dishwasher. Got the parts and called for 2nd appointment. Well when they said they were going to be there which was 8 to 4 they called at 2 said got changed too 8 to 6 then 30 min later called again and said it's canceled and rescheduled too the next day with same time window.
