I recently moved to Tuckahoe from Brooklyn. I visited two dealerships in Brooklyn, two in New Jersey and spoke to many others over the phone. None of these dealerships provided matched the experience I received at White Plains. Jim was a pleasure to work with, friendly, honest, and understanding and most importantly not pushy at all. My wife and I leased 2 Hyundais from Hyundai of White Plains. Our experience was effortless and smooth. They are totally professional and first class all the way. We dealt with Jim, Tony and Jeff. I was very pleased in dealing with the sales people (Tony and Jim) at Hyundai of White Plains. They were very professional and were able to meet all of my needs in what I was looking for. I called ahead to make check that the car I was interested in was there. They offered to pick me up from the train station to get to the dealership. To my surprise, when I arrived at the dealership, the actual car I wanted was there! Representatives for other Hyundai dealerships I visited previously lied in response to such a simple question. This was my second new car purchase, my first being with White Plains. They wereand are beyond horrible - mistly in their service department. So I went in to White Plains Hyundai with my guard up. Jim Pelka, the salesman who took care of me was great - we went for the test drive, he explained everything in detail. Great dealership. Excellent staff. Highly recommended. Wonderful experience, twice now. And they don't play games. Will keep coming back. A pleasure to do business with. The entire transaction was easier than I could have imagined. There's no high pressure, and they are honest too.
after having a horrible experience at JM Hyundai I when over to the white plains Hyundai from the beginning of walking in i was treated with respect i explain my situation and was able to solve the approval issue with a cosigner, they had the car and model i wanted and even the color. What is it worth to find a dealer you can trust? Having James as my salesman, and the rest of my experience was atypical of car dealers. Polite, caring, and with follow up service of my Elantra, true to word. The only typical car dealer thing about this company was an attempt to sell me an extension to my warranty. Otherwise, great experience.
