I contacted the provider to install an electrical outlet and wire an overhead lighting fixture. The provider never showed up for the appointment and the work was never performed. They have an automated system for scheduling and confirming appointments, which requires you to enter a credit card number. Electrical check of house It went ok. Some rooms were locked so wasn't able to get the level of service I wanted but it was my own mistake.
Wholes House Electrical & Safety Inspection Technician went around to all outlets using a standard Ground Fault Tester. That was it! That was the extent to test/inspection. I mentioned several fixtures/outlets (including porch/garage lantern and existing smoke detectors) not working properly, technician provided no insight/troubleshooting. Technically did nothing but supposed to fix kitchen Light, Electrical panel and smoke detector. CET was assigned by American Home Shield for our service provider for above mentioned work. I am reviewing based on all the attribute that i have given the ratings. 1. Quality: For kitchen light that clearly need to be replaced, the technician did the temporary fix that fell down after 10 days. Thank God, nobody was in kitchen and everybody was safe. Electrical Safety Inspection I had to reschedule the first appointment I had set up because the technician arrived 2 1/2 hours late. I had my son home during the timeframe given but he had to go to work. The second appointment I took off work. He was supposed to arrive between 10am - 2pm. He didn't show until 4:30pm. We were looking for a quote for: 1 foyer light replacement; 1 chandelier installation with minor relocation (1 foot to the right); 6 conversions to recessed lights, 6 new recessed lights.
